What happened to Rense.com

I haven't been able to see Rense.com all day It may have been down longer. I have seen that some Obama bloggers are claiming credit, anyone have any info???

I just clicked on it and it came up. I never used the site that much but I wonder if it has been redesigned or something. I don't remember it this way, but I wasn't a frequent user.

Looks like the site is back up and running, though it was down for around a day and a half (two days for some).

Hmmmm. Looks like Rense.com is down once again. At least in western canada it is. Responds with a "server not found" message.

Hunter of the Shadows, I'm glad you brought this subject up.

There are a lot of things that bug me about Rense, like their incessant Obama and Israeli bashing, but being a "breaking alternative news junky", I still check that site often.

But I want to gripe for a moment: what IS it with the people who run that site? I remember writing in to them before the presidential election in 2000, complaining about their bias against Gore and lack of Bush bashing.

Whoever it is that replies to such emails replied to me saying, "don't worry--Bush will get his turn if he wins", or words very close to that effect.

Well, that never happened. And now, again, that site is bashing the democratic candidate.

Maybe I'm just intellectually slow for continuing to visit that site despite the fact that I disagree with their politics, BUT--

If Obama fans DID have anything to do with "downing" rense.com, then GOOD ON THEM.
