Obama Claims No One Clapped During Detroit, MI Speech

Senator Barack Hussein Obama recently gave a speech on energy. He complained to the audience that when he had delivered the same speech in Detroit, MI., "nobody clapped".

Because of the magic of video we are shown that he lied to the audience about the applause. Was it a matter of a lapse in memory? Or was it an effort to create an artificial divide between Americans, ie; Big Bad Detroit vs Joe Sixpack?

Using rhetoric and misinfo to curry favor is common among common politicians. We can see by this video that BHO is not anything special; he is a common liar and charlatan.

If he keeps going at this rate, he'll destroy his own campaign long before November rolls around..

His plagerism in his campaign against Hillary was laughable. He still just tried to pass off as his own words.

It's like either he really does think you are dumb and won't catch on or he is dumb and lacks attention to detail. It could be a little of both I suppose.

That's a politician for you. If you listen to all of their speeches, they strongly resemble one another. Politician "Joe Blow" takes a quote from Kennedy, Nixon, Bush, whoever, and changes it to fit their own needs.

He is counting on the short attention span of the average American. He knows he will be exposed, but after a 20 second spot on the news while everyone is busy eating dinner, it will disappear, and it will soon be yesterday's news.

There should be a thread in which we all collect all the lies of Obama and McCain. Have a contest and see who can collect the most lies. It would be the longest thread in ATS history!
