White Lights

Topic started on 9-3-2004 @ 10:31 PM by TheCatalyst

A few months ago, I've started becoming a lot more spirtual than ever, and ever since then, I'm seeing white dots where I look. They are just like white and come and go. They differ in size and brightness/clarity. Some of them are really obvious and white and some are tiny and barely noticeable, anyone have a similar situation, or know what this is?

maybe since you are becoming more spiritual, you are attracting more spirits or something.

Im not specialised in anything, but I know limited information.

Perhaps they are "orbs" ?

an alternative solution is that you are rooted to your belief so much, that you are on the verge of paranoia (it happened to me. some old guy died next door and I was convinced that the place was haunted. everytime I heard something I would stop what I was doing and search out the source of the noise. to my surprise, I always found the source! and it wasnt the dead guy next door... also what really got me: the guy never died . it was because I had gotten glued to spiritualism and stuff.). This need not be the case, as you might even be experiencing a "real" experience.

You could be experiencing retinal tearing, which causes light flashes/spots to be seen. Might want to go see an eye doctor before you consider this something supernatural.

ahah yeah it would be funny if you actually had an eye problem and thought your blindness was a "gift" to sense spirits cuz you can't see.

I agree, you need to see a doctor.

But it is better to see an OPTHAMOLOGIST, not an OPTOMETRIST for this.

The optometrist *may* be able to diagnose it, but he/she would just send you to an opthamologist for treatment. Optometrist don't usually deal with this, just the normal eye exams. Opthamologists deal with diseases and retinal issues in their normal line of work.

However, it is better to see somebody good, and somebody *soon*, and if you have a choice of an optometrist or nobody, or an optometrist now and an opthamologist much later see the optometrist. (if the MD opthamologist takes a long time to get the appt, take it, and see an optometrist first).

note that some retinal problems can require IMMEDIATE attention, and can be fixable in the early stages, but very bad or incurable in the later stages.

it could be signs of who knows how many diseases, or it could be nothing.

it could be neurological, like migranes, or a brain tumor.

you need a doctor, mkay?
