NY: 50 Percent of Sequoia Voting Machines Flawed

www.blacklistednews.com

New York state is in the process of replacing its lever voting machines with new voting equipment, but the state revealed recently that it has found problems with 50 percent of the roughly 1,500 ImageCast optical-scan machines (shown in the video above) that Sequoia Voting Systems has delivered to the state so far -- machines that are slated to be used by dozens of counties in the state's September 9 primary and November 4 presidential election.

I think most of the people around here know these new voting machines are for the rich to keep control of the masses by taking away our freedom to chose our leaders. It is just something of a rarity that it is being reported so many of the machines are failing. Although I doubt this will convince any of the powers that be to go back to the punch card ballot.

For real, I feel sorry for anyone who didn't see this comming. As if the whole deal with florida in the last election wasnt enough. Besides, we have 'representative democracy' we vote for people who say they will vote one way, but in reality they can vote any way they wish to.

Surely this is a gross underestimation!

None of them work, actually
or rather, they work for their owners.

that's sad to hear. i'm pretty sure it happens everywhere anyway though. Somehow some votes got ruined over here in Scotland, making the SNP the majority government with one single seat. Pretty remarkable isn't it?
