Somtimes I look out my window and I see this shape in the sky wich looks exactly like a star but then when i went down stairs and then came back up again it was gone.

The moon's reflection bouncing off of Venus, hitting nearby swamp gas, which created a lens flare effect. That, or your window has a piece of dust/paper on it.

where are you looking? north? south? east? west? how high up? how high up degree wise? a fist on it's side (so your tumb is up or down) is approximately 10 degrees. also, where are you located?

give me more info and i'll let you know what it is in the sky.
