I guess you have not heard of the woolly mammoth found frozen in the arctic with its mouth and belly full of green grass and leaves indicating that this frozen area it was found in was once covered in vegetation. In fact the entire region has been thawed out in the past.

During one warm period Greenland was thawed out and was under cultivation in fact. These things are not taken into account when this theory of man made global warming is put forward. One eruption of a large enough volcano releases more greenhouse gas than all of human contribution since the beginning of the industrial age.

It all boils down to some bizarre requirement in the hearts of man to "find something or someone to blame and believe there MUST be something that can be done!" in any and every arising circumstance. Watch any natural (this is key n-a-t-u-r-a-l, remember that) disaster coverage and you can bet the house that within the first half hour of coverage some douche of a reporter will make the following statement: "People are watching this destruction and they have to be asking "What could we have done to prevent this and who's to blame for those precautions not being in place?' Here to answer that question is network expert..." Clearly things like polar shifts and hotter solar cycles can't in any way whatsoever be tagged to man nor is there a damn thing we can do about them... so the idea of manmade global warming is hatched. What a convenient catch-all for the media to latch onto, the politicians to embrace, and the profiteers to pad their portfolios with.

Well, to be fair, the plants found in the stomachs of mammoths that frozen in peat bogs and were sufficiently preserved for us to determine their stomach contents .... are the same as those found growing in the same regions, or elsewhere at similar latitudes, today.

Only the coastal fringes

On the contrary, annual volcanic eruptions produce around one hundredth of annual emissions from human activities. The only way volcanic activity could exceed current human output is with something like a flood basalt eruption - in which case, global warming really would be the least of our worries!
