With unlimited resouraces, theoretically it'd be possible to create something that you could ditch fiarly often. Sure you'd have to explain why it's a good diea to leave scientific doodads all over the place in peices and parts.

it's to have an easily disposable
organic node of data reception that's easily controllable and movable quickly and efficiently.
organic in that it decomposes and erases evidence.

no robots.
no parts.
just organic crystaline microwave nano-transmitters in the neural centers

Humans attract flying insects because we generate CO2, heat and other odors. Flying insects attract dragonflys because they can see them using their fabulous multifacited eyes.

I can remember being pestered by a deerfly or 2 till a dragonfly comes dive bombing and the flys are magically gone, eaten by the dragonfly. Occasionally they will land in your hair which is kind of an oh-no moment!

To the OP; there is ZERO evidence to suggest that dragonflies even existed before 1964.

Dragonflies are spy's, cyborg bugs watching us, collecting data.

I swear i saw an ant just last week with a camera strapped to its back!
And then get this! Just today, I saw what I thought was a bird in the tree, but on closer inspection, it turned out to be an alien spy drone sent from Gliese581c specifically to steal my mums scalloped potato recipe.

Their everywhere I tell you.

OK. That's my story. I'm sticking to it.
