need help with an alt-az mounted telescope.

me and my cousin are trying to set up a telescope that uses an altitude-azimuth mount. i need answers as to how to use the damned thing. so if anyone could help me, it would be much appreciated. i believe this goes under this heading. if not, just inform me before you move it.
