I found this rather interesting. A UFO that displayed acceleration and deceleration characteristics beyond conventional aircraft made a beeline for Bush's ranch in Texas. It was escorted by some military craft and some said that the UFO was up to a mile long.

Maybe Bush's mother ship has finally landed......

Hey ST

Interesting that this isn't more news worthy, by that I mean that I haven't heard a peep of this.

I think if you're going to test new aircraft or contact E.T. Texas is as good a place as any.

Strange that it's near the Bush compound though.

Speed is weird as well.

Good catch and hope to hear more on this.

Well we get our standard UFO stories, which this fits in with well enough. But the president's ranch angle makes it quite a bit more interesting. Maybe the aliens are taking a personal involvement in Bush's presidency
. Maybe they are flying Bush around in some exotic new gravity defying aircraft.

It would be interesting to figure out where Bush was supposed to be on the day of the sightings.

This topic is HUGE. Thats why it is being discussed in two very lively threads. Just look up Stephenville, Texas in our own search engine. Cheers!

I didn't realize that this was the same topic. So much for my knowledge of Texas geography,

Thanks.

this sucks (for me). i am definately not a "skeptic" as far as there being life out there, but i am wondering why the heck i am not seeing anything. i am in tx and i am looking toward the skies about 3-4 x's/wk on any given night, any given hour; yet i have only seen things that would appear to someone not doing their research as "UFO'S", but all of these can be explained (if one does their research).

again, i believe there is life out there and i believe there are valid sightings, but i am starting to wonder if some ppl in txs are getting a bit carried away at the sight of anything.

just wondering if ppl are seeing things THEY have never seen before, but maybe "these things" have perfectly logical explanations.

will say it for a 3rd time, i do believe there is life out there and we are getting close to knowing the truth definitively, but i am thinking my fellow states~ppl are getting a bit carried away........... no?

There's definitely people that get carried away, but there's too many (corroborative) reports to discount them all as easily explainable or misidentifications.

And if you are referring to this case in particular, you should visit the thread Breaking UFO News! - Stephenville, Texas Radar Report.

MUFON did a report on this case, and they present all the evidence they could gather, including radar returns. And they found out that an unknown craft, that displayed abnormal behavior, was flying in the places and time many witnesses reported it to be.

I'm sorry you haven't been able to spot anything interesting, though
Good luck.

There was a special on Larry King Live July 13th about the sighting near Bushe's ranch, and other sightings in Texas. There have also been recent sitings in the UK. Interesting.
