what is the deal with this picture? "An Inconvenient Truth"

I´m looking at the poster for this movie, An Inconvenient Truth, and i
find it a little bit strange, right about the smoke area, i never seen smoke
do that here in Sweden, but, i think it looks a lot like a galaxy or something
out of this earth, what do you think? Why is it there?...

I think is more of an other truth...

I think its supposed to convey how smoke pollutes the atmosphere and causes powerful weather catastrophies such as hurricanes. The smoke coming out of that tower (digitally altered of course) is supposed to resemble a hurricane.

Its not a galaxy like other conspiracy theorists thinks ( i guess you have seen the looking glass clip ) .. its simply a hurricane to symbolize that pollution in the end makes the weather go berserk.

Ok, hurricanes, we don´t have those in Sweden, but pople like the movie..
