ATS Fantasy Football League

any room left for me? I am very interested. I have not played fantasy football in 3 years and I am getting the itch really bad.

Sure is. Register an account at ESPN.com, then send a u2u to either Bunch or myself containing the email address you used to sign up. If you already have an ESPN account, same thing, just send the email address to one of us.

After that, you'll get the invitation to the league through that email address. Accept and you'll be in.

The draft will be August 25th, give or take a couple days. We are currently voting on the type of draft we will be conducting.

Alright guys, we need at least one more person again to even things out. Post or u2u someone in the league if you need any information about joining.

And again, please do not join if you don't intend to keep up with your team.

For instance, i think we should get some ATS points for this, if it can't be awarded, i would offer my own points up. Ill throw out 10k to split amoung the top 3... That would be sweet.. mabye we could work something out...

How about all of us just accumulate 10,000 points? I don't think its fair that you should offer it all up. You wouldn't gain anything if you won.

Then again, you won't win, so we won't have to think about that.

All of us have plenty of points to offer up, except CelticFC, beastamerica and jwstarry. So perhaps us 6 could offer up a certain amount, say 1,000 or 2,000 points and pool it?

Completely voluntary, of course. No one should feel obligated. But it would make things more interesting.

Ok so 10k it is and we can split it among the top point members I will say 50k or above just voluntary of course.

Mabye ATS will offer up a whimpy sum... Say, 100 points... and our GREAT membership can fill the gap...


With a 10000 pool to give out, i say we should give:

1st 6000 points
2nd 2500 points
3rd 1500 points


or in some form, DEFINATLY giveing some to the top 3 people...

Mabye we should have an entrance fee? But Wavie it, for the newer members, or us anceit folk chip in for them...

I love FF... I haved played EVERY year since Randy Moss's Rookie Season...

But, honestly, i would wish a mod could give out like 100,000 points... THAT WOULD OWN...

Also, im looking at the Rules, can we change them a bit?

It says start 2 rbs, and 3 WR's...
Can we have it 2/2 and a 'Flex' spot, that can start either one?

It gives ALOT more flexiblity, and lets you gamble... Some weeks, you can use a sub-par RB, going vs a BAD defense, or plug in a Wide-out, in a game which you KNOW is going to be a shoot-out...

Adds a bit more fun to it..

How about this:

0 to 2,000 ATS Points = 0 ATS Points to play
2,001 to 5,000 ATS Points = 100 ATS Points to play
5,001 to 10,000 ATS Points = 500 ATS Points to play
10,001 to 20,000 ATS Points = 1,000 ATS Points to play
20,001 to 30,000 ATS Points = 2,000 ATS Points to play
30,001 to 40,000 ATS Points = 3,000 ATS Points to play
40,001 to 50,000 ATS Points = 4,000 ATS Points to play
50,001+ ATS Points = 5,000 ATS Points to play

I'm hesitant to make it mandatory. I don't really want to do that to people. I would hope just in the spirit of competition people would offer up these point totals.

You can always donate more if you would like to, though.

Going through people's point totals and matching it up with this scale, we would have a total of 27,500 ATS Points to give out, if everyone donated the correct amount.

We could split that up this way:

1st place: 18,000
2nd place: 7,250
3rd place: 2,250

As for the RB/WR, yes, I'll make it 2 and 2 with a RB/WR position.

QB: Tom Brady
-easiest schedule, top targets in moss, welker, gaffney, watson, maroney
-bellicheck will have more 4 wide receiver set
-will have to prove last year unbeaten was no fluke
-will have to go to superbowl and win everything
-won't come near 50 TD's like last year, maybe 40TD, 4 INT, 4500 yards.

runners up: Peyton Manning
-marvin's gun is back!
-Reggie Wayne is top 3 receiver today
-steel-consistent-Peyton, he's a stud since almost his rookie year

sleepers: Drew Brees
-too much weapons in Colston, Bush, Meachem, and now Shockey.
-midget QB but really accurate and smart passer
-Saints is due for break-out no?

and of course
Comeback (?) QB of the year: Brett Favre
-will throw to productive lavernues coles
-will throw long to speedster jericho CATCHery
