BOINC on Multiple Computers?

Topic started on 9-3-2004 @ 09:33 AM by sminneman

Can you run BOINC on multiple computers with the same username? It seems like you should be able to, but I can't find the account key without going through the whole user creation thing again.

They'll send you an email. Save this email. You could run BOINC on as many computers as you want. I think they made the key as a string of a reason. Since if you have this key, you could change all the settings, so you're kinda forced to run BOINC only on computers where you have access. Some people were running Seti@home on unauthorized computers.

Hi xn/ team!!

Thanx for the confirmation xn of signing up for multiple accounts for BOINC. Seems sensible (that BOINC) should do this: many people who run SETI@home do have access to multiple machines - just look at our "top" people
