I've now seen the stories of the Statements of Russia:

"Attack Iran and you attack Russia"...
www.abovetopsecret.com...

It's very clear to me this WW3 is heating up quite quickly. Now all we need is an attack on IRAN by Israel to light the fuse. What else could light this bomb?

Why is it just the US wanting this stuff?
Don't people ever ask these questions in the US?
People in Europe do not feel in danger because of Russia, but the US does...why?
Anyway the EU has signed a security pact with Russia so I bet nothing will come of this. People are more scared of the US and not Russia. The EU has tons of Nukes and so has Russia and that achieves balance.
It is just usual US fearmongering.
They want to encircle China and Russia and force the middle east to hand over their oil so that they can control emerging economies like India and China...nice people...
Anyway the Russians have accused the US of targeting Europe as well (Pravda article go dig it and Pravda is pretty much controlled by Russian Gov)...I do not think that people in the EU trust the US, hence Brown got rid of all US Nukes on British territory...
Russia has said that what the US want to build could be easily swapped by missiles aimed at Russia or the EU....thank you but no thank you just in case this neo con thing spreads I do not want a 9/11 in Europe.

You are so misguided, its laughable.
If the U.S. wanted the middle east oil, we would have it already.

Please stop spewing the typical same old tired rhetoric. You are embarrassing yourself.

Hey Dude! I'm glad you find that statement "Laugable". Sure in our nationalistic society that person's statements are "misguided". However while you're having yourself a good
would you please stop to consider that that persons statements are not the statements of a single "misguided" ATS user. Their "typical same old tired rhetoric" is "old and tired" because it is a common perspective among a sizable population around the world.

It's "misguided" populations such as these that alow for the "anti-christ" to wadge war against the United States. So please unless you're in a bunker stop laughing and thing about that.

What is with you and attacking members for having a differing point of view?

You're going to meet people who have opinions you don't like. Deal with it.

With that being said, yes. The US is in fact stepping up pushes of propaganda and threats toward groups in that region.

Given that Iran has a pretty peaceful history, especially compared to the rest of the region, and ESPECIALLY compared to the US... the US has no real reason to be threatening Iran.

I know, your media is telling you there all nut jobs, they tell you Iran wants the region to die... have you ever asked yourself what evidence they have while they're spewing this propaganda at you?

I have yet to see one instance of evidence linked to any "threat" Iran supposively poses on the region.
Yes, they're test firing launch systems. It's all in preparation for the coming US attack on Iran. No, Iran doesn't want a war, but the US is making it abundantly clear that the US DOES want a war.

Look back through Iran's history. Extremely peaceful for quite some time now.

Look at their culture. Christians, Arabs, Jews and many other religions co-existing within those borders. (Clearly not some radial religious state).

If you look at the solid facts, you begin to realize the statements made by the US about Iran are all just propaganda to get the US to support an unjustified attack on Iran.

And yes. Of the countries the US has attacked in the middle east so far... you do have their oil.

Kind of ticks you off that the savings aren't being passed to you doesn't it?
Thats the kind of people your government is pandering to.

So what? It's still incorrect. So because a sizable chunk of people believe this propaganda, those who know the truth should just be quiet. Is this what you are saying?

Sorry, but I am not worried about the anti-christ waging war with America. However, I am worried about the damage Obama might do because of his socialistic leftist views. Hey, perhaps Obama is the anti-christ since some of his followers call him the Messiah.

What? Huh?
So you believe its 'attacking' when I point out that their statement is funny and totally off base? Is this what you are saying?

I've seen some of your posts and you go off the rocker on posters who disagree with you and you say a lot worse than 'laughable' and 'misguided'. So please, take you faux outrage elsewhere.

Since this is NOT what I was replying to, I have no idea what you are talking about.

So do you or do you not agree that the U.S. is trying to take over the entire middle east for oil? This is the question we were discussing.

Iran is the designated location for an oil pipeline, as was Iran. Iraq is a supplier of oil.

The oilfields in Iraq are now under US ownership, and are to be passed down to US only oil firms.

So yes. This IS about taking over the middle east oil systems.

And yes, it was an attack. I'm not going to say I haven't done my share of getting angry in the past. But it certainly was an attack.

What it was, was a direct retort to a person, with a purposeful insult.

Like I said, we all get angry, I'm no saint, but it doesn't exactly need to continue.

We ALL need to learn to reply on ATS with professionalism.
Recently, I have noticed the personal jests are getting to a point that ATS is becoming yet another flame ground on the internet. I'm not about to sit by and let that happen, I like ATS too much.
