WRONG, the 9/11 commission hired NIST to do the reports for the commissions staff statements.

Also the FBI and NTSB have not released any crime scene reports to anyone.

oh ok:

Dozens of government agencies and other entities provided the Commission with more than 2.5 million pages of documents and other materials, including more than 1,000 hours of audiotapes. In general, we cite documents and other materials by providing the agency or entity of origin, the type of document (e.g., memo, email, report, or record), the author and recipient, the title (in quotes) or a description of the subject, and the date. We use the following abbreviations for the agencies and entities that produced the bulk of these documents: AAL-American Airlines; CIA-Central Intelligence Agency; DCI-Director of Central Intelligence; DHS-Department of Homeland Security; DOD-Department of Defense; DOJ-Department of Justice; DOS-Department of State; DOT-Department of Transportation; EPA-Environmental Protection Agency; FAA-Federal Aviation Administration; FBI-Federal Bureau of Investigation; FDNY-Fire Department of New York; GAO-General Accounting Office; INS-Immigration and Naturalization Service; NEADS-Northeast Air Defense Sector; NSA-National Security Agency; NSC-National Security Council; NTSB-National Transportation Safety Board; NYPD-New York Police Department; OEM-Office of Emergency Management, City of New York; PANYNJ or Port Authority-Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; PAPD-Port Authority Police Department; SEC-Securities and Exchange Commission; Treasury-Department of Treasury; TSA-Transportation Security Administration; UAL-United Air Lines; USSS-United States Secret Service.

Interviews, meetings, briefings, and site visits conducted by Commissioners or by members of the Commission staff are cited, for example, as "George Tenet interview (Jan. 22, 2004)." Testimony by witnesses at one of the Commission's 12 public hearings is cited as "Condoleezza Rice testimony, Apr. 8, 2004."Written statements for the record provided by witnesses at one of our public hearings are cited as "Thomas Ridge prepared statement, May 19, 2004."

At the request of intelligence community agencies (including the FBI), we use the first name and last initial, only the first name, or in a few instances an alias or title when referring to working-level employees in those agencies. At the request of several intelligence agencies, we cite most reports from the CIA and other intelligence agencies generically as "Intelligence report," followed by a description of the subject and date. In a few instances in which we were given access to highly sensitive documents or information, we cite generically to documents or information provided to the Commission.

The FBI was instrumental in the investigation. The FBI went in front of congress to show different policies, steps, and reforms designed to prevent terrorist attacks.(this was after the final release)

oh.... and:

Beginning on September 11, Immigration and Naturalization Service agents working in cooperation with the FBI began arresting individuals for immigration violations whom they encountered while following up leads in the FBI's investigation of the 9/11 attacks. Eventually, 768 aliens were arrested as "special interest" detainees. Some (such as Zacarias Moussaoui) were actually in INS custody before 9/11; most were arrested after. Attorney General John Ashcroft told us that he saw his job in directing this effort as "risk minimization," both to find out who had committed the attacks and to prevent a subsequent attack. Ashcroft ordered all special interest immigration hearings closed to the public, family members, and press; directed government attorneys to seek denial of bond until such time as they were "cleared" of terrorist connections by the FBI and other agencies; and ordered the identity of the detainees kept secret. INS attorneys charged with prosecuting the immigration violations had trouble getting information about the detainees and any terrorist connections; in the chaos after the attacks, it was very difficult to reach law enforcement officials, who were following up on other leads. The clearance process approved by the Justice Department was time-consuming, lasting an average of about 80 days.

So where are the FBI and NTSB crime scene reports in all of that? I did not see them, as stated. You do know that the FBI and NTSB are doing the crime scene correct?

Also please check out the final staff statement 13 from the 9/11 commission report.

Much of this work was conducted in conjunction with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is studying the building performance issues. We are indebted to NIST for its cooperation. We have also received cooperation from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and from the City of New York.

Did they release them to the public? Not that I am aware of. The 911 Commission has them.

You stated that the FBI didn't release reports to the 911 commission. That is not true.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China??

YOU stated that the FBI did not give their reports to the 911 commission. That is not true.

For someone that has read "both" versions, you really didn't learn too much.

The drill will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. and will conclude sometime in mid-afternoon, officials said.

The mock disaster will include the use of actors, playing the roles of victims. Dummy victims will also be used. Various aircraft parts will be scattered throughout the drill area, and a lot of smoke will be used to simulate real crash circumstances.

More than two dozen local agencies will participate in the exercise, officials said.

Mock plane crash tests emergency services

Red lights illuminated the sky of the University Park Airport last night as an emergency call came over the radio. The call reported the downing of a commuter plane involving at least 20 injured passengers.

To the emergency personnel who arrived at the scene, the dispatch was as urgent as any other call they could receive. But luckily, this time it was only a drill.

www.collegian.psu.edu...

The drill was geared toward the 200 or so first responders - firefighters,
emergency medical technicians, police, Coast Guard pilots and others - who
would answer the call in a real emergency. The city coroner did not
participate in this year's drill so none of the volunteers were "killed" in
the crash.

Wow, the city coroner is called even during an exercise. Hmmmm.

There was saposed to be a Johnstown airport mock plane crash, 8 -12 kms from the Shanksville crater site on 9.11.

Around 35 people are expected to take part in the search over the weekend.

Search managers from various mountain rescue teams and Dyfed-Powys Police took part in the planning of the operation on Friday evening.

So as not to disturb people living around the area, the exercise was stopped overnight and started again on Saturday morning.

In the event of a real emergency, a codeword is in place so any, or all of the agencies, can abandon the exercise.

1999 - NORAD starts conducting exercises in which airplanes are hijacked and crashed into targets which include the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
killtown.911review.org...-NORAD_exercises

NORAD had drills of jets as weapons

"In the two years before the Sept. 11 attacks, the North American Aerospace Defense Command conducted exercises simulating what the White House says was unimaginable at the time: hijacked airliners used as weapons to crash into targets and cause mass casualties.

One of the imagined targets was the World Trade Center. In another exercise, jets performed a mock shootdown over the Atlantic Ocean of a jet supposedly laden with chemical poisons headed toward a target in the United States. In a third scenario, the target was the Pentagon — but that drill was not run after Defense officials said it was unrealistic, NORAD and Defense officials say.

NORAD, in a written statement, confirmed that such hijacking exercises occurred. It said the scenarios outlined were regional drills, not regularly scheduled continent-wide exercises.

"Numerous types of civilian and military aircraft were used as mock hijacked aircraft," the statement said. "These exercises tested track detection and identification; scramble and interception; hijack procedures; internal and external agency coordination and operational security and communications security procedures."

All the planes were involved in the mock hijacking of 911, but they went live.

Not lied to into war.

1) Iraq connected to terrorism (FALSE)

2) Iraq has or is trying to get WMDs (FALSE)
In fact, the ONLY WMDs found later were from the early 90s that were so old that they were not even usable.
3) Iraq war will pay for itself (FALSE)

4) We will be greeted as liberators (FALSE)

What part was true?
