(since you can't see the face), I disagree that there is anything wrong with any of the other headcovers/hijabs/whatever. If a person believes they
must wear it due to their religious convictions, why is this wrong? Why should anyone's confidence be undermined by this? Should we pander to all
those racists who are scared of the 'dangerous muslims'
?
Also, as far as an 'areligious enforcement of law' goes, this means that no religion should get special treatment by the officers- like somebody
letting a criminal go because they belong to the same religion as them. If something like that happens, I agree, they should be
fired/punished/whatever. But this doesn't mean that they should completely give up their religion...what, should all police officers be atheists?
