One of the missing nukes is in the Gulf fleet - several decks down?

Imagine:
1. US is starting war games in the Gulf.
2. Iran is starting war games in the gulf.
3. In a "Reichstag" type event the missing nukes from the US gets detonated in the fleet.
4. Israel confirms the "launch of a missile from an Iranian base or plane"
5. The rest is easy, point the finger at Iran and retaliate, nuclear style claiming "they started it".

This scenario is plausible and possible, so much so that if it happens the world would believe it.

I hope Bush is smarter than that, but then again who knows. Russia has stated that they will back Iran if anything was to happen. And no way with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and gods knows where else we cant risk getting into war with Russia.
