Defence contractor G.E Buying the Weather Channel to FALSELY promote CLIMATE CHANGE!!!

NBC Universal, parent company "General Electric" is shelling out 3.5 billion dollars to purchase The Weather Channel. GE has an estimated 250000 employees and is ranked number ninety-six out of the top one hundred U.S. defense contractorsSource. And even higher when compared to the manufacture of nuclear warhead components. They are very much in bed with the government.

Now that the defense contractor GE has complete control of The Weather Channel, it now has the ability to influence the masses greatly. In comes the increased global warming propaganda helping the governments start collecting Dollars for "Carbon Credits" ect ect....Now with the recent G-8 summit ,"The Group of Eight leaders are set on Tuesday to take an "important step" forward on fighting global warming"Source

Does anyone feel this is a huge conflict of interest?

I sure do, especially since I feel that the MMGW and AGW are a hoax. I mean, think about it, there is concrete evidence that shows the Earth has actually cooled every year since 1999.

Also, international governments, environmentalists, scientists (IPCC for example) are all telling us that Carbon Dioxide is the culprit and is causing global warming. What they aren't telling us is that CO2 comprises a very small amount of the total greenhouse gases, and CO2 produced by humans is only a fraction of that. About 2% of the approx. 8% CO2 in the atmosphere is man made, hardly something to be concerned about. CO2 itself is not a poison, it is required by flora, most vegetation can't exist without it. And without vegetation, we can't exist either. In fact, the number 1 greenhouse gas is water vapor. 95% of the total greenhouse gases in our atmosphere is water vapor. We see environmentalists, corporations, governments pressuring for the development of hydrogen fuel technology, yet completely overlook the fact that the exhaust of such technology is water vapor. We should actually be running away as fast as we can from such technology. We are so insignificant that termites actually emit more greenhouse gases than all humanity combined.

AGW is in my opinion nothing more than an international socialist plot for wealth distribution. And really, this wealth distribution would help corporations including the petroleum producers because most of the nations in this planet are extremely poor and many of their people cannot afford luxuries like vehicles or other produced goods. If the worlds wealth were distributed more evenly, a corporation with a good to sell would have a target market of around 6 billion people rather than few hundred million or so that they have now. Just think about the profits that an oil company would have if there were suddenly two or three or more times more people in the world that could suddenly afford a vehicle.

Whacky conspiracy theory? Maybe. Is it possible? I sure think so.

Im sure that GE will be more than able to manipulate data and skew the facts, and thats if were lucky. I expect outright lies to further their own agenda, thats how the government is working these days....

I find it highly ironic that the founder of the Weather Channel (John Coleman) Source called Global Warming "the biggest scam in history", while GE stand to gain billions of dollars if the US adopts a system of carbon trading credits Source.

According to Coleman, TWC had lost its way long before one of the weathercasters argued on her blog in 2006 that meteorologists who denied human influence on GW should be stripped of their certification. Ha, the article above is from earlier this year and mentions the channel being for sale and Coleman as hoping for it moving in a better direction with the new owner. Guess he'll be disappointed!

Stop watching the weather channel.

I stop by there occasionnally when surfing and I have noticed a change in scenery, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the change over.

When you see a news source that you don't trust, avoid it like the plague.

The truth is that you don't need the weather channel, especially if you are connected to the internet and have a broadband connection.

I personally like that guy from AccuWeather. He tells it like it is. He says we are cycling back to weather patterns that were prevalent from about the thirties through the fifties and doesn't push a global warming political agenda. He just reports the weather, which he is very good at.

Since GE owns most of the rights to the many green concepts for 'combating' GW, this makes sense. BOYCOT GE!!!!! Most of what they build in in the pacific rim anyhow, They do nothing to help our economy here other than to bilk us..

Interesting, I was wondering what the motive behind buying the weather channel was. I guess this makes perfect sense. They are disgusting.

Some facts:

0.03% of the ENTIRE atmosphere is CO2.

Mans contribution is approximately 0.018% in the whole time we've been burning stuff.

Here's another fact:

The Earth is tilted ~23.7° about its axis. Due to Earths orbit around the Sun, the Suns altitude in the sky varies by ~23.7° each year as a result.

This tilt ALONE is responsible for massive warming/cooling of the Earth, which gives us the seasons.

Some BS reports recently stated that the Sun has no effect on our climate!! WTF??

If they're going to go to such lengths as to lie about something kids 5 years old know, then look out because they'll lie about anything to get what they want!

Despite records showing since the 40s for where I live that year on year it has got cooler, despite CO2 rising in the same period, the Met Office has the audacity to tell me CO2 is the cause of global warming (now emphasized as climate change)!!

If you can find climate data, you will find in 99% of cases that the data is contradicting what we're told.

Don't forget also that data (generally) doesn't lie (unless it's either been fabricated, tampered with or mis-recorded), and that people lie all the time.

The whole argument is BS.

OIL is the real problem - they don't know what to do.

Since the UK agreed to allow a technically unlimited number of nuclear power stations, Al Gore has disappeared. If you looked at the timing of Al Gores appearance, the pushing of global warming, climate change, his films etc.. and the fact he was hired to advise the UK government on climate, and the passing of that bill, and Al Gores subsequent disappearance again, the whole damn thing was rigged to get people to push for nuclear as the "green" alternative.

It was so obvious I'm surprised more people haven't noticed.

Whilst people are panicking (because they don't understand even simple physics, like the seasons as I demonstrated above), they miss the total deception being played out in front of them.

All the carbon offsetting and carbon trading schemes to date have been proven fraudulent.

Al Gore is himself a hypocrite - a recent report out in the last month or so showed his energy consumption rose several percent to approx. 22 times the US average (11.7 MW per MONTH!!).

He obviously knows something we don't (i.e. MMGW is BS).

LOOK AT THE FACTS. Don't let a few scientists change the laws of physics! There are other factors at work. CO2 is relatively insignificant.

Springers Final Thought :

The Earth was molten rock at its conception. It has been through hell and back, yet here we are, right here, right now. The Earth will keep spinning (as will the lies). Nature will win out (it always does). Humans lie for short-term gain. The greatest deception in history is in full-swing. Don't get caught out.
