What is thread tags?

When doing a report for the breaking alternative news whats thread tags?I tired to make one and wouldn't let me without adding that in.I don't want to be a dummy(which i am) and just put anything there.

I shouldn't be quoted on this but the way I think it works is for every X number of responces you get on one of your threads you're alowed to add another tread tag. That's the way it seems to work according to my understandings of it. You need to get X number of responces before you can ad a tag.
