Well taking into consideration that the Bush tax cut for the rich didn't do a darn thing to help my husband and me, I guess perhaps Obamas will make a difference on our income.

You don't think it can get any worse, but it can. Put someone who believes their own BS in office with next to no experience and majorly lacking attention to detail and you've got a problem that hits home.

How can it get worse? Im curious.

Speaking to you, i can tell you get all of your sources from a disgruntled hillary supporter. Its so blatantly obvious.

Its as if someone is living vicariously through you on these forums.

How is it going to get worse?

Rich people pay more taxes
middle class people pay less

there's more money for government programs
there's more money for the economy
there's less money going to people oversea's who dont deserve to have what we can't get access to.

how can it get worse?
If McSame gets elected.

Thats how.

Well we got 8 years of the worst president in the history of this nation, trust me I have seen my fare share of presidents in my life time, it can not get any worst.

cannot believe the stupidity of this. 250k a year, and you "struggle to make ends meet"

typical "uppity" yuppy white people. Get off yourselves. They've never tasted desperation.

Sure, you used yuppy white people along with your hero's term as in "typical" white people.

Why not just refer to them as yuppies Andrew? This is what someone without race on their mind would do, no?

So, imagine now if I had said "Typical black yuppy family ..". You'd be all over me about racist BS. You are alot anyway over posters who make no mention of it.

Rediculous.

So you lived through X amount of Presidents and the "worst" one was the last one? What's to say then, that the next one can't be worse yet?

If you find my post racist. Fine. Call it what you want.

I call things how i see them.

If you're white, and you're a yuppy - im calling you a yuppy white guy

There is a stereotype of certain white people, and the family that was interviewed in this CNN video was the poster child for that stereotype

Nothing i have said has been racist.
I apologize that, once again, i've proven your anti-obama sentiments to be false. You can tell your disgruntled hillary source-material expert that i apologize that she lost to a man, it has nothing to do with sex, gender, and skin color. Its the fact that people hate her.

I look forward, very much, to our debate in less than two days.
Call me any name you want. It wont change the fact that you are wrong, and bigoted in your own ways.

Dear or dear, I guess you are right with Obama, we may have some stagnation on our economical situation after all we are a bankrupt superpower.

But then again, we get McCain in the white house and yes . . . we may get another 4 four years of more government rule corporate corruption in favor of the war eating monster.

Either way we still have to support and deal with a trillion dollar war, you know wars are very costly specially when the war monsters like haliburton in Iraq and the oil barons America are hungry for money.

So do not think one second that a tax cut here and there is for the benefit of any body here, what our government does to us the people of this nations is like throwing bread crumbs to feed the monkeys in the zoo to keep them happy from getting to know where they spend our tax payer money, while borrowing incredible sums of money from developing countries to keep this nation afloat.

Ignorance is a bliss.

Yes dear, wars are costly no doubt, but so are Mortgage scams? The largest scam this nation has seen to date is the recent Home Mortgage scandal with several Democrat US Senators under investigation. More than 400 people have been indicted already.

The nationwide Countrywide Mortgage scandal has hurt this economy bigtime.

Obama has been part of major mortgage scandals in his Chicago district. Tony Rezko took the fall for him too though. They both benefitted financially tremendously. How else do you think Obama was taking in 4 million a year before running for President dear?

Now, the Gas cost problem is a global issue. Iraq has been free to do with their Oil as they wish. We have not used Iraqi Oil.

Bush and McCain are for domestic and offshore drilling to curb this problem that is hitting "your home", yet Obama is against it.

So, Obama is not for a solution, only alternative energies which he is heavily funded by energy companies for his campaign.

Does Obama really want you have it easier? Did you know Obama said that we should cut costs elsewhere like stop driving our Suburbans so much and eating less?

Does that sound like someone who cares about your quality of life dear?

ya know, im setting here, preparing some material for anew post

and i just realized something

why, if a white guy (such as myself) chooses to support Obama, do you call it "White guilt" ?

So its "white guilt" to support anything that a black person does?
Am i also suffering from "white guilt" when i say Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player whom ever lived, and that i think Larry Bird is a poser?

Is it "white guilt" of me to think that artists like Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis are the words greatest "modern" musicians?

Is it "White guilt" of me to think that people like Rosa Parks, who fought against racist white people, is a noble, and VERY worthy cause, that deserves constant recognition?

Is it "white guilt" of me to think that Barack Obama being the first "real" candidate for the presidency (dont give me that crap about Jesse Jackson, there may have been 12 people who voted for him)
and i take pride in the fact that so many people can support a 'black man' for president, not because of his skin color, but because of the way he talks, walks, acts, and gets things done, despite the history of this nation with regards to how white people act towards black people?

The rest of the world is wondering "why is this such a big deal, its about time America got it right"

God *snip* right its about time. I take pride in the fact that, even though we're behind the times, at least we're finally starting to get it right. It doesnt matter if he's liberal democrat, or neocon republican, you'd still bash him for being black

So basically - what you're saying is that any white person who gives credit to any black person is REALLY just suffering from "white guilt" ?

Sounds like you- yourself - are suffering from some type of guilt of your own.

Let me clarify something here, while I agree with most of your last post, I see you keep with the news and that is a plus, but sadly you will never find a thread in this board in which you can find me posting that I support any of the presidential candidates running for 2008.

So my views of any of them is base mostly to what they cater to as proxy for corporate corruption.

While McCain will support the status quo that Bush has put in place in this nation, Obama will not be so friendly to that side of the corporate machine.

So yes in essence while we can pretty much see a continuation of Bush with McCain it will be refreshing to see what Obama will be catering and supporting.

See our political system is corrupted by corporate rule and all of our political candidates are up to their neck in corporate corruption.

To me I careless who wins the election but I can tell you this much one can make life worst than what Bush has done, while the other one is just a surprises in the making.

also, since you refuse to educate yourself, allow me to explain this AGAIN

Bush and McCain are for domestic and offshore drilling to curb this problem that is hitting "your home", yet Obama is against it.

Drilling for domestic oil will nto lower gasoline prices. You are ignorant for thinking so.

IF domestic oil was readily available to pump out of the ground, required no processing, required no shipping, no investing, no paying of workers to handle it, and no storing/etc, then yes - it'd lower the cost drastically.

The fact is, that "LOCAL" oil companies will have to FINALLY invest some of those billions of dollars they so easily made last year, and go and build all of the equipment to extract the crude oil

then

they have to clean it. Because? Crude oil has soil and water in it. Has to be seperated first

then

they process it
ship it
make stuff with it
it comes in many different forms to a store near you
and you buy it

but before any of that can happen, a new oil rig has to be built
people have to be trained to operate that rig
etc etc etc

then, more refineries have to be built. Because? All the refineries in this country right now are operating at 100% capacity.

billions of dollars in cost to drill domestically at home

You really think the oil comapnies will say "oh, thats okya, we need to lower the cost of gasonline at the pump, so we make less money, and consumers spend less for a full tank of gas"

and then they'd just eat the billions that it took to get the oil in the first place?

!!!!

WOW

thats a very audacious statement to make, for someone who really just panders about their dislikings for any white person who supports a black president

Well stated Marge.

We have no choices, it is an NWO agenda.

Step 1 - form Unions
Step 2 - currency for each Union
Step 3 - reduce population
Step 4 - Combine Unions under a single global government.

Obama and Clintons are for a Marxist NWO model. It is where the government controls everything. The government is ultimately corrupt and in control.

Bush and Cheny are business men. They want a Corporate Facism model for NWO. It is where the Corporations are the ruling government.

The problem is, you are getting liberal elitists like George Soros who is not even a natural born US citizen trying to control our government for his energy companies! He is partnered with Perseus LLC. The partnership is for an NWO, but with the International bankers (Goldman Sachs) and the energy companies as the ruling government.

And then .. you have radical Islam who wants a single world nation under Islam.

The more technology advances the easier it is for this greed infested framework to plot against each other for power over the people.

If you like, see my signature link on NWO.

Here is a great analogy!

To any of you getting ready to go to college.

Don't do it! It will cost too much money, and you won't see any results for many years.

Thanks I finally get to see your side of the issue and I agree one 100%.

Glad to see more people in this boards that can see things for what they are, see we have a lot in common after all.

I will check your link on the NWO.

Thanks!

Here's the kicker though, I think, and just my opinion, but a researched one, that the Investment banking and energy companies that are heavily funding Obama think he is easy to manipulate.

While they are his Puppeteers, he s a Puppet that may have a radical Islamic orgin.

As Obama stated in his book - "If the political winds should change, I wll stand with the Muslims".

NWO architects are well aware that Africa and the ME combined hold 2/3 of the world's energy sources. They want control of these resources.

We are heading into some dangerous times for world greed and control. Caution and wise choices must be made by the people not to support these agendas.

Give me a *snip*ing break.
I would love to make that much money. If i did - you can bet your sweet patoot i wouldnt make my future kids wear 'hand-me-downs'

Andrew, if you want to earn that much, than DO IT. It is a free country(at least at this point) and you can go as far as your drive and intelligence will allow you to. I hate to tell you, that when you make more money, you spend more money. I was able to live on $400 a month when I just graduated college, because I had no bills. I have bills now and I make a heck of a lot more money.

Here is an interesting fact: Here's another powerful statistic about the top 1% of earners: They pay a whopping 39% of all federal income taxes. The bottom 50% pay just 3% of all income taxes. from www.kiplinger.com...

The lower half whines and complains with their hands out and wanting more from the government. Get out and work for it. Work hard and move ahead. It can be done and is done every day.

Offshore Drilling is just this month's Super-Sized version of April's "repeal the Fed Gas Tax" line that Hillary and McCain embraced. Obama was the only one of the candidates who had that one right and it was because he actually *understood* the issue. Repealing the Fed Gas Tax would do nothing, and probably raise gas prices in the end, and I was stunned that America seemed to actually "get it" after every economist on the planet came out and said it was a stupid idea. Drilling is the same thing dressed up. In 2006 the US Dept. of Energy did an estimate of the effect on prices drilling in ANWR would have and their conclusion was... It would take 12 years for the first barrel to be produced, and it would lower the price per barrel by about 75 cents. However, they also stated that the OPEC countries could, and probably would, decrease their production by the same amount to keep the price per barrel the same... In other words, millions of dollars of investment for 0 price change. That's not from some MoveOn.org or Greenpeace study, that was from the US Dept of Energy.

Source: Analysis of Crude Oil Production in the ANWR

The only way to lower gas prices quickly is to increase the value of the weak US dollar. That can only be done by paying off National Debt and lowering the deficit. Obama's tax plan is the only one that can do that. Sure it sucks that someone who makes over 250K a year gets hit hard, but the US is in a desperate economic situation and the only way to get out of it is to produce some money and pay off the Bush Debt.

Are you insinuating that only black people make less than 250k per year?

I make less than that, and im positive you do too.
We'd benefit from his tax plan.

Obama's tax cuts don't hurt the poor. They make people who make lots of money, pay their fair SHARE of taxes.

I dont care if they "pay more than me" in a lump sum

if they pay 10k and i pay 2k, but they make 1 million, and i make 58,000, they are not paying their fair share.

as a rouge estimate.

What is your definition of "fair"? How much more do you feel is "fair" to "stick it to the white yuppy man"?

IF you make 31k or under you only pay 15% of your income. IF you make almost 100k or more you pay 35%. www.irs.gov...=164272,00.html(read the link for more details) So, not only are you paying quite a bit more per dollar, you are paying a MUCH larger share of your income. I don't see this as being "fair". Of course if you have no aspirations to join those making more than 100k, I can see how you would be glad they pay more.

Honestly, I am all for the www.fairtax.org... Which, might actually be FAIR.

Honestly, it is very ignorant to believe that the wealth get what is coming to them and that they all live high on the hog at the poor's expense. It isn't the case. Like I said in my last post, get out there and make more. It can be done, but, with a big fat chip on your shoulder it is a much more difficult task!

Bravo - that is key to the American dream. You don't have that in a Utopic Marxist society.

Bill Gates is all for it, of course so long as Microsoft is the controlling monopoly. It is this way for all Utopics, so long as they have all the money and you just get by and work for them.

Take my points. This needs to be said.

Andrew, you are an Plant. You joined at such a time as to question where you are from and whom you represent.

Oh. Hmmmmm.... so lets take at when Obama started his web offensive......

www.ft.com...

So you joined the day that Obama started his web campaign against the truth, and you are from where?
maps.google.com...,+Illinois&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title

Well just a hundred miles from there.

You are a plant, and an obvious one at that.

So I say again, you have no shame, and lack basic intelligence.

I HATE kool-aid drinkers.

Keep attacking Mccain, we don't like him anyway. We are only voting against a socialist racist if we go with anyone instead of Ron Paul.

Vote Obama if you want people like the OP in our Whitehouse.

[Edit to tell the OP, I am so glad that I have made the decision to click ignore on you. Now I don't have to read your crappy diatribes.
