Cellphones, popcorn, and eggs - marketing hoax

Remember the flurry over whether or not cellphones could pop popcorn?

As many thought, it was in fact a marketing hoax by Cardo Systems Inc., a manufacturer of bluetooth headsets.

Yes, they certainly seem to be! Although I didn't see how the maker of the bluetooth headsets got their message across. That's a bit obscure, but it does confirm that it was all indeed a hoax.
