My glasses pickup subliminal advertising

Subliminal Advertising On CBS TV Network. “ IROBOT” ?
I know My header title sound like A national enquirer headline , but it’s true.

My glasses pickup subliminal advertising on television that cannot be seen by the naked eye. How weird is that ?

Subliminal Advertising On CBS TV Network. I mean like the 1960’s and 1970”s where the message will flash very fast in a matter of seconds in the background or is very hidden but your vision will not pick it up , but it’s said your subconscious will pick it up pick up the message.

Well, I just received these new reading glasses. It took 4 months to get them. Turns out I needed very special lenses because my sight is not exactly lined up, so the optometrist tells me this very rare. So after a very long 4 months I get the new reading glasses and tried them out tonight, well I’m looking up at the TV while reading. The show on is CSI. It looks very blurry with my new reading glasses on . I just wanted to see how they looked at distance not good. Anyway in big 4” letter across the top of the 26” screen was “ IROBOT” flashing during the show. I thought what the heck is that. My wife say’s what? I tell her” the Big Red Letters on the top of the screen flashing real fast “ IROBOT” My wife told me she could not see it. I told her wait a few minutes it might flash again , sure enough it did . I handed her my glasses and said hurry look, she said what is that? Why is it flashing “ IROBOT” then she moved them off fast and looked at the screen and said “ where did go” Then put then on looked though them again and seen “ IROBOT” In big 4” letters then she said it vanished. Then it started again she said. Big red letters flashing “ KFC” , this was getting a little strange the next show was flashing “Mc Donald’s”

So CBS want me to rent IRobot ( by the way CBS owns Paramount Pictures ) head on over to KFC or Mc Donald’s for Family take out over the 4th of July weekend.

I’m going to see if I can catch some political TV Ads with subliminal advertising and post on the board what I see on the screen I bet that will be a fun topic. This strains my eye’s doing this.

I’ll be on the lookout with my new Anti- Subliminal Signal Advertising Glasses.

CBS is the biggest user and abuser of Subliminal Advertising. Check this out .

“CBS Tries 'Branding' Its Shows”
Tries branding It’s Shows ? They Brand Every show from what I have seen tonight.
query.nytimes.com...
The ''creators'' spots also carry an important subliminal message from the network with the oldest viewership. ''These are not older, cigar-chomping men in rocking chairs writing these shows,'' Mr. Schweitzer said.

Well, it`s been said for years that this is how they sell you things without really putting an add on TV. If they can`t sell it to you one way, they will do it in another way. Nothing like being brainwashed is there?

I always though this type of advertising was banned in the USA, (The Fast Flickering type accross the screen ) I know it's banned in the UK.

Well now I know for sure they use subliminal advertising in the USA .

Interesting. I guess the only way to actually prove it, would be to get a recording of the aired show, and analyze it, or at least play it in slow motion. It's of course illegal to do so, i.e. proving that CBS does it, would get them in a lot of trouble.

I wonder why "I Robot"? It's an ancient film, not?

Then there's the whole ongoing debate whether subliminal messaging actually works...
On a side note, I wouldn’t say that “sight that’s not aligned up” is that uncommon. (Unless I understand your “condition” wrong.) Many people’s eyes are different, i.e. one eye’s sight (sharpness of the retinal focus) is better than the other eye. Mine is as well. It would however be interesting to know what material your glasses are made off (i.e. CR-39 or polycarbonate, etc.) and what kind of coatings it has (Hydrophobic coatings or anti-reflective coatings, etc.)…? Do you perhaps know what your prescription is?

I can`t say for sure, but I believe it is banned. I may be wrong, and it has been a while back, there was a large outdoor sign, like a digital screen somewhere in New York I believe, that was being used just for this purpose. The company that put it up was putting local ads on it, but they were flashing a message on it to get people to buy there digital boards. When they were caught, they were forced to shut it down.

Sounds a bit like the movie "They Live"

Could you tell us exactly what glasses you were wearing. As in who made them, model, optics etc..

Can you tell us the model of your television, and the source of the broadcast - station and how you received it -OTA, Cable or Sat.

Could you duplicate it and maybe capture the images with a camera?

I'm aware of quite a bit subliminal type stuff over the airwaves, but I've never heard of this type of text.

Here it is. I also see double vision when reading .the glasses seem to straighten it out as well as off the alignment of my vision. If it’s not the prescription then must be the material.
Here they are.

R 1.25 -1.00 145 6.25
Sphere Cylinder Axis Base Curve
L 0.75 -0.75 20 6.25

The prescription Does not say what the lenses are made of though.

I know I have a more detailed version of the prescription. Like 10 to 15 lines of number. Will take some time to write that out.

i was going to comment on the excellent film 'they live' but verylowfrequency beat me to it.

i'm sure you must know someone with a video camera if you don't have one yourself. you could set it up in front of the tv with the glasses partly in front so it catches half the screen with the glasses and the other without. then leave it running for a while. if you catch any subliminals on there then you can post the results here.

It may be just the city codes, I`m not sure, like I said it`s been a while back that I read about it. I don`t like the idea of someone trying to force me to buy something like that. It`s not cool at all, and they should be behind bars for it. If you think about it, in a way, they are trying to monopolize a market using that system.

it might or might not work....
mabey you need both lenses/both eyes to see
try closing one ...if you still see it ...then see if it is in both lenses
or just one....if it only with both then you would need a type of
dual lensed stereo camera....
wow....trippy stuff

This brings up something that the optometrist said. I might have to close one eye some times to get better clarity when reading. I’m not sure if this means anything, but I think you may be correct. I’m seeing the optometrist again next week I’ll get the material list if she has it. I’m sure she will.

Thanks for the quick responses. It would be nice if you could duplicate & capture some images. Once we have that we can eliminate the cable company, or specific station if we can duplicate the results over satellite or over the air etc.

If you have a DVD recorder,DVR or even a VCR record the footage and see if it shows up when played back. Then you can experiment with capturing an image by playing it over where you know it is until you have a good capture result.

Thanks
