These politicians aint telling me anything new

I have seen this train wreck up close and first hand.

Next will come the credit card companies. Dont believe me?

Check out Citi group and their most recent wave of layoffs. Wachovia is in dire straights, Chase is teetering, and Bank Of America is in an awful mess since they acquired Countrywide and all of it's negative debt, which is yet to be determined but could equate to several billion dollars in losses.

We are heading for a collapse, ugly truth but truth none the less.

Wonderfully written and incredibly sad.

I will take this 4th of July as a day of mourning for our great and wonderful nation that was and pray for the day when my children can truly understand why I love this country as much as I do.

My FLAG WILL BE AT HALF MAST!

You’re not supposed to post scary stuff now - it’s the Fourth of July, not Halloween! I thought this Holiday was supposed to be about celebrating our Independence and Freedoms AND MAKING LOUD NOISES and eating like pigs, and here you come along, trying to extinguish all the pretty lights with your hose of truth. Shame on you BlackOps719.

It’s people like you that keep trying to interject reality into our daily lives that spoil all the fun of living a delusional life. Does that give you some sort of gratification? I hope not. As for me, I’m going to watch American Idol and Survivor on my 99 inch plasma TV (bought on credit) in my five-hundred-thousand-dollar home ( And YES - I can’t afford it. So what? And YES, my Mortgage lender is on that list of yours. So what?) and later sleep the peaceful sleep of the ignorant. Stop scaremongering us with facts.

Ron Paul, the man who decided to print his own currency? The traitor, the coward? You must be kidding. The man who thinks he knows more than he does. The man who abandoned America for personal gain.

I'm beginning to sense something about America also. The news and this site is increasingly becoming detached from what I can see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears when I stick my head out of the _ Somebody's America is definitley dying, but it ain't mine!!!

Happy fourth, from a Real American.

PS. Is Ron Paul one of Reza Pahlavi's finger puppets?

His views helped us solidify OUR views. It is really sad what happened. There is no longer a day of American Independence, but a day of American Acceptance...of total security.

Good luck with that

Thank you for the compliment.

I understand your sadness and frustration, and although things look dark right now I hold out hope that a new dawn is approaching for us.

People are finally keen to the ways and working of our big, corrupt government. And in turn people are starting to slowly see things as how they really are.

While it is your right to fly your flag tomorrow at half mast in protest, I will wave mine high because I still believe in everything that the stars and bars respresent and have always represented.

Freedom and love of country, good over evil, liberty and equality for all. Our country and our flag have not let us down, it is we who have failed them.

Happy 4th to you and your family thank you for defending our country, you have my respect and my sincerest thanks.

It is very encouraging that the level of vitriol against Ron Paul only rises to the most juvenile level.

I am mystified at how well the elite-controlled corporate media kept Ron Paul from being seen and heard. You might call it a conspiracy.

Even more mystifying are those U.S. Americans who simply turn a blind eye to Ron Paul and the clear truth that he is telling and simply march on for their men Obama and McCain.

I really think many people support Obama because he talks 'pretty' for an USAmerican, and after the torture of GW Bush's pronunciation, that is such a relief. But it is no reason to make a man President of such a valuable and important nation, much less a nation in crisis.

I hope all citizens of the USA have a safe and happy Independence Day. And I hope Ron Paul's message of Independence is heard far and wide in your nation and the world.

Yeah, that's the same excuse every politician uses for their pork projects.

And somehow that makes Paul's lies better?

You have absolutely no clue how earmarks work. None, not even one tenth of half of a fraction of .0004%

The money you claim he's "wasting" is already spent. It already out of the system. Meaning, the money is gone, it was spent before anyone even voted on it. It's just laying in wait for congress to tell it where to go. Using RNC buzzwords like "pork barrel projects" is even more stupid than assuming you know something about a topic you obviously never researched. "Pork Barrel Project"... good god, we are screwed. But it doesn't surprise me. Very few in America know anything about the way thier government operates, and from the looks of it, I don't think we can count you into that minority.

Cut out every earmark, or as you and various other morons have put it, "pork barrel projects", and you are left with a debt of 9.1 trillion, instead of 9.3. Not counting the 70 trillion in entitlements, which would make it 79.1 trillion instead of 79.3 trillion.

Wow, cutting "pork" really saved our asses didn't it.

Read a book.

Excellent points.

What can you expect from someone wishing to do nothing but spread lies and deceit? This is what we Americans are faced with, an entire sub culture of people who really sure to life have no damn clue what they are talking about.

In lieu of doing any research or becoming educated in any way they sit there in front of the drool box, sucking in disinfo and parroting the idiotic points of their favorite talking head. They take this crap in 24/7 and after a while lies start to become truth and reality becomes distorted. The propaganda machine is powerful, it is cunning, and evidently it is effective.

This country is in pretty deep s*** unless people start to think for themselves.

Misguided? What is it about Ron Paul that I must know. Noone votes for him because he talks about that same separitist crap as those survivalist were talking out in Idaho in the 1990s. Do you know why people gain a survivalist mentality? Because they have no knowledge of how things work in this world and aren't willing to understand because it marginalizes human intellect. Excuse the oxymoron.

BlackOps. A name that suggests you know something that most people, including I, don't know, but should. I suggest you know nothing.

Here's a story for you. I start with a question that is apporpriate for the day. Do you know why the American Revolution was fought? Not the wikipedia answer please, I've read that.

My response would be this. America existed before the United States. The creation of the United States was just a compromise from the very beginning. During the last of the French and Indian Wars, as you call them. The King was betrayed and lost everything. The men who ultimately became your founding fathers fought along side the British and participated in murder and armed robbery. After the war was over and the inhabitants in this land no longer had a protector, George figured he didn't have to put forward any pretense to his designs for this land and reduced it slavery, for everyone. Then your fathers came and asked the very man they betrayed to help them fight George, so that they could live free. Of course the King helped them, it was hard for everyone at the time. They fought and won. They signed a treaty creating the States and "liberty" was born.

Now to the present time. This country is going the way it is because like your fathers (assuming that your history here goes back that far, or are you just a recent immigrant), you decided it would be funny to double cross the King again, but it didn't work this time. Now you, your British allies and whatever scum they brought along are staring down into the abyss as a direct result of your treachery.

Ron Paul cannot save you. Obama, McCain, Clinton. None can save you from this. The only thing that is going to be destroyed or collapse is your world. The real America will be just fine.

With regards to Ron Paul:

Just to make a point, before this war, I taught economics at a local business college and also possess advanced degrees in related subjects. Ron Paul doesn't know what the hell he is talking about and doesn't want to tell you what really gives currency value. His foreign policy is cowardice and he in no way is representative of the American people. He is a stooge.

Furthermore, I don't know any of you personally, but I am near 100% certain that I am smarter than you are, in both educational background and experience. I am more American than you are, as my ancestors were here long before you. I am a stronger patriot than you, we have fought in every war for this place you were once proud to call home. I am still proud to call it home. and nothing is about to happen here that we won't survive. You are just enemy propaganda that suggests otherwise.

And I am certainly not going to take foreign or monetary policy advice from a trained gynecologist and grandson of a German immigrant. I accept his advice regarding my pregnant wife. You are insane.

I know you think you're pretty great and all, but I couldn't make much sense out of the rest of your post.

Enlighten us. Who do you support in the coming election? Is there some secret candidate for people that are smarter, faster, and stronger than the rest of the electorate? Or does it just make you feel better about yourself to spew arrogance and vitriol at the tiny percentage of the population that are genuinely interested in real change?

Or is this something simpler, just the bitter, impotent words of the bourgeoisie, their last recourse as dissent begins to threaten the comfort and safety of their deluded and intellectually bankrupt world-view?

You, sir, are insane.

A democratic system has but one purpose, produce a representative government. It is a machine. To work it must be free and fair. For the last 37 years it wasn't free or fair and was open to manipulation. The system is nearly entirely back in the hands of the people. But for some reason people on this site cannot see that. Which leads me to believe that many people who frequent this site don't have the people's best interests in their heart. Ron Paul doesn't care about this country, but about his crackpot opinions concerning economics. A gynecologist with a monetary policy that I should care about. The man hates this system and only seeks to destroy it.

I am an American. I don't come from somewhere else, the government belongs to me. I see the truth. Noone cares about your doom and gloom scenarios for America and its pissing you off. The change you should be seeking is taking place. Its very subtle. Yet you see destruction, which makes you a suspect. When nothing major happens in the next six months and business carries on as usual you'll see how pathetic men like Ron Paul are.

Why don't you stock up your canned goods, get your gun and go hide in your rural bunker, so as to make your stand against an invisible boogey-man We've got a life to live.

I support the election. whoever wins, they belong to me either way. Their is nothing about your beliefs that should be mistaken as representative of the American people. You are not the average voter, but a fringe element in society. I come here to put you in your place and remind you of what you probably already know about yourself.

And almost certainly, the people who are being destroyed, if not physically, definitely financially and socially, are primarily and overwhelmingly the Nouveau Riche. People who believed that to be rich you have to be a criminal or do business with criminals. Its not the people who built wealth across generations and preserved it. They'll be just fine. This is the real America.

Hi everybody, this my first post.I have to say I wish it was on a lighter note but here goes.(PLEASE excuse my spelling)Everyone seems to have the country at heart(save one that seems to be haveing a bad day and chose this post to take it out on)but untell we ALL and I mean a very large majority of the American people can agree that we all need air to breath(a jest)we will go through this sort of agenda by the elites that look upon us as subjects to be minipulated and not citizens to be feared.I read a very short and to the point book by a man who takes a real look at humanity and and puts it all down in a very strong and forcefull way,but in the end all he said was"Unity,Demonstration,Boycot,And I would add RECALL,These are our rights and duties as citizens when we have a goverment that no longer fears its citizens.Simply put if we choose not to excersise our rights as CITIZENS then we derserve what we get.

You are no real American. You are quite likely one of the most arrogant and ignorant people I have encountered on these boards. I hope that your words here are the acts of a child looking for attention, because if there really are Americans like you out there then we really are all up the creek.

How dare you come on here and disrespect the founders of this country on Independance day of all days? You should be ashamed of yourself. Saying you are a true American as you bad mouth the people who built this nation. What have you done to help? Who the hell are you to spew this hateful nonsense? I am 61 years old and I served two tours in the jungles of Vietnam and I paid my dues for your freedom. So I suppose that means I am a better American than you then doesn't it? Best to keep quiet and let people think you a fool than to open your mouth and remove any and all doubt.

Oh do tell me what gives currency value. Don't say "military power". Becuase there is no way, none, especially fighting a 2 front war thats true. And don't say "it's value is determined in realtion to the value of other currencies". Becuase that is complete bull#, those other currencies are fiat just like ours, thier values plucked out of thin air. Then Tell me what Fiat currency ever remained stable. Then take your degree in econimics and shove up your ass. It's obvious that whatever coherent thoughts you may have once possesed got flushed down the toilet as a brown spec on a piece of toilet paper along with whatever was left of your pride.

You are a pathetic and unbelievably stupid human being.

I am just pointing out a fact. George Washington made war on America and then when he figured out his mistake came back to the same people he screwed over to help him fight the British. I merely brought it up to point out the utter beneficence and mercy of the King. Who is also American and the reason for the sublime strength of this great nation.

I am still at war. My ancestors fought at Kings Mountain. Every man in every generation of my family have fought in every war this country has every fought and every son that is yet to grow up will probably be called out and happily serve at some time in the future. In the Civil war they fought on both sides. And before that they fought in every war in every generation from Western Europe to the Asian Pacific. This is the serious business of my life. Your background could never compare to mine, if we really threw down the facts to be judged.

When your ancestors came to this country, mine welcomed you. When you enlisted in the military, mine took your information and issued you a uniform. And we happily pay your pension and benefits now and until you are no longer here.

I come to this site, possibly the most anti american site I've seen, and listen to people talk about how my country is about to collapse and you think that's American or how anyone would speak of their country, on this day?

Whatever old timer, I am only 37, and when you wanna compare what we contribute to this place Im prepared. I am arrogant though and probably ignorant as well. And as this war proceeds, I will behave in such a way as to be remembered as the most belligerant person who ever walked the Earth.

And another thing, my father died during the Vietnam war. And I've been looking for the people that DIDN'T die during that war. I think we got a lot to talk about. Better make sure your heart is pure. I've been known to send men to the insane asylum and cause sudden death.

Good thing you didn't say, "don't tell me PRODUCTION." I would have been stumped then. The value of Currency, even if it happens to be Gold, which is an ancient fiat and which, in and of itself, is more or less useless (unless you like gold jewelry), is directly related to the production of the system which issued the currency. If you produce, you can issue currency that represents that production. to much currency in the system relative to production prices go up. Its quite simple. To say the US dollar is worthless is to imply that the US doesn't produce anything. And we all know this is a lie. Inflationary pressures that currently exist are being caused by the false production that was in the system. All the fraud that is no coming to light. For a complete collapse of the US economy, most of the infrastructure and labor force would have to disappear. Anyone know anything about that? Since the King owns almost everything anyway and he isn't going anywhere, the US economy will be just fine while all the liars, murderers and thieves are rounded up.

We have a substantial production system that no other country could possibly compare to. The only reason we use currency is because its more efficient than barter. I assure you that its not Gold that you want to end up with. If your kids are starving a brick of gold is just as worthless as any paper. Its just more mocking. What you want is a plate of food, some clothes and a roof over your head. And america produces that to a surplus. And someone is swimming across a river right now because they know this.

Ron Paul doesn't no anything about currency. The reason the dollar is so weak is because of uncertainty of the future and fraudulent industries being exposed. People like you are doing a very effective job at convincing the world of a global economic collapse so they don't want to hold currency. They're probably holding commodities instead, like oil, and only enough currency to conduct transactions.

Philip of Spain though gold had intrinsic value just like Ron Paul and his economy collapsed.
