'R.I.P Shots' plastered over ATS logo. What's the significance?

Just browsing thes site and this came up:




See 'RIP Shots' across the logo?
Anyone know what this means?
Perhaps a moderator could help out.

P.S sorry about the large white part on the image I'm on a work computer and the photo editing sucks.
