I have 2 email accounts.

A) My business email account where emails are downloaded to my computer.

I own the domain name and control the email account. I have never changed any of the settings for years and only I am able to do so.

B) My Hotmail account whereby I have to log-in at the Hotmail website.

Nobody else even knows I have this account.

The 2 email accounts are not linked in any way, and I have never even sent an email between the 2 accounts.

Today, for the very first time, one email that was sent to my business email account was actually in my Hotmail account inbox.

It should be impossible, but it was there.

The email is even addressed to my business email account, but it is in my hotmail inbox.

yea, they have always had access - any time they wanted...

but I think that would corrupt the account, and make using it all greyed out. sorry, but common problem - when people change data instead of killing and recreating different email accounts....

You accessed them on the same computer?

If not, then someone is watching in the astral plane. Remote viewing you.

Yes accessed them on the same computer.

But one email account uses an email program, the with other I log-in at Hotmail using a web browser.

The email was addressed to my business email account, but it was in my hotmail inbox.

So even if someone could see what I was doing on my computer, they would still not be able to move the email from my computer inbox to the hotmail inbox - because the email was addressed to the account on my computer.

that sounds freaky.

To make you more paranoid, I wouldn't consider this as a mistake but a warning

Sorry for the sarcasm in my previous post, I might have been a bit too cynical.

I apologize.

I was thinking about this today when I filled in my mail somewhere, maybe you used both accounts once for a service and that's why your mailboxes were mixed up?

Nope. The email was from a client of mine and the email address (to me) was correct, but it should not have been delivered to my hotmail inbox.
