ATS Rap Contest!!!!!!!

Yes you heard correctly, We are having an ATS rap contest.

ATS member Mad_Hatter has been so kind as to supply us with three of his original beats and we are asking you to come up with the best ATS rap possible.

The only stipulations are this....

1). Keep it clean, if it is anyway obscene, it will be deleted. The same T&C applies here as in the threads.

2.) It has to be about ATS or some way related to conspiracy theories.

3). Have fun with it. No one here expects you rhyme like Jay-Z so enjoy it.

Points will be awarded to the winners and you will have the chance to shine among your peers and show off your flow.

First place: 10,000 points

Second place: 5,000 points

Third place: 2,500 points

The winners will be chosen by myself and Mad_Hatter, the man behind the beats, on July 15th.

You can choose from one of the three beats listed below or you can provide your own. Remember, have fun with it.

Here is my entry. It uses about two mintues of track two. Enjoy!

Can anyone get at me with a U2U about how to actually lay vocals down to some of these beats.

The contest is to be done by recording and the quality doesn't have to be outstanding or anything. We don't expect you to have a $3000 Mic. You can record your songs with any kind of mic you can hook up to your computer really. I will have to check with kleverone about entering via written post, but I don't think that would be fair to the ones recording their lyrics, myself. Also I will not be entering the contest since I am judging and supplied the songs.

To be totally fair to everyone, you can simply submit lyrics although part of the judging will be based on your ability to flow. Depending on how may entries we get we may have to have two categories. One for lyrics and one for an actual rap to a beat. Feel free to use your own beats as well. The three provided do not have to be the ones used, although they are sick so I would suggest trying them out.

Of course, i'm not actually entering the event, i'm too shy for competitions, but i'll agree the beats are good.

I've never rapped before in my life. But I will think about this. It should be funny hahaha.

So I got 2 weeks to learn, hmmmmm.

I'll think about it.

Personally I would LOVE to hear all of you try to rap too lol.

I got a REALLY crappy microphone, it makes all kinds of odd noise. Hmmm gonna have to figure something out.

Anyway I'm busy the next few days so I am not sure about being able to make anything in time. But I will think about it.

Oh yeah why don't mad_hatter and kleverone do one too?


Edit: Can anyone tell me if using background music of other musicians is OK or not, or do we have to create our own or use MAD_Hatters one?

Great idea for a contest! I would love to participate but for some reason I can't tracks 2 and 3 are not loading properly. Is anyone else getting this?

Go ahead and provide some Sky! I'd be interested in hearing them and we're not limited to just mine. Come on...do it...do it...do it...haha.
