ATS Member shots has passed away

This is very sad news indeed. Shots passion at times was contagious. He will surely be missed.

i did not know shots, and came across this thread by a thread asking what the R.I.P. SHOTS was on the banner.

when i found out what it was, i began to read the thread. i started the video, and continued reading.and i started to cry, but these were not tears of saddness, but tears of joy at the community here at ATS all coming together and giving thier heartfelt thoughts and prayers.even the people who were his adversaries in debate.

So i am only sorrythat i was not fortunate enough to have met you.But i do look forward to reading your threads and posts.

i wish the best for you, wherever you are now, and your family, and i thank you SHOTs, for showing me that there is still hope for our world.

and thank you ATS members.

My deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends. Having lost my husband to cancer, I know there is not a lot that a person can say. There is nothing that can take the pain away...

May the universe guide and protect them on their future path...

I, like so many other members here, never got the chance to meet shots in real life. However, on ATS it seemed like he was the one to go to when you had a question about politics or just wanted to have a good ol' fashioned debate on a subject. Shots was one of the best, if not the best, debators on ATS. This site has lost someone that will live on memory.

As Gary Allan says in his song "Life Aint Always Beautiful,' life ain't always beautiful. Tears will fall sometimes. Life aint always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride.

What a loss. Shots was always one to give you a run for your money. SHOTS you will be sorely missed. RIP

I didn't know him, in fact I think he passed away before I joined ATS. Not sure about that though.

But it is always sad to see or hear someone passing away leaving his family behind. That is my own worst fear.

But I give my condolences to his family and he himself. May your journey be good and sleep tight.
