ATS Member shots has passed away

I remember a lot of really good debates with Shots. He was fairly conservative, and I'm mostly liberal. It just lent itself to interesting confrontations. And I must admit, he ticked me off more times than I can count. I suppose its a statement to his skills with debate.

Here's one of my favorite posts of his. It's a thread that I got very passionate about, and went toe to toe with him. He was just a great debater.

It's funny because I had noticed that he wasn't posting recently and felt that something was missing.

Shots, despite our differing points of view, you really forced me to see things in a different way.

I also didn't know him....

But I am sad for his family and all those who knew him here at ATS. I send my Best Regards and Sympathy to his Real Life Family, and to those at ATS who have lost a member from our family as well.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Shots,but may he rest in peace,and may peace be with his family.Makes you think about how short life actually is.Anytime any human being dies it is truly a sad,but yet joyous event.Rest In Peace Shots.

Wow, just woke from a nap to find this. What a loss. The man was courageous, and will be missed for sure. He is free. God bless him.

Such dreadful news. My thoughts are with Shot's family and friends.

I have been reading some of those old posts of Shots and I find myself smiling. Such passion - you can almost see his finger shaking at you. What a lovely man - his contributions have been missed.

Personally, i did not know of his ilness.

I think he prefered it that way.

He was never looked at or treated like a person with a serious illness, he was just shots.

He was liked and respected.

I hope he found peace and the answers to all his questions.

We will all miss you.

To the (non-ATS) family and friends of Shots, I am sorry for your loss and know he was loved and will be missed by all.

I did not know Shots, but may his family find peace and comfort. Always sad to hear of a member's passing.

to be honest i didnt like Shots due to some views he expressed in topics
but then again something like this is never good even if the person is someone you dislike.

I didn't know shots, but I'm sure he will be missed by those who knew him on ATS. ATS should come up with something for his family.

RIP Shots. I hope you're in a better place now. Perhaps I'll meet you on one of my OOBE's. Partially seperated from my body yesterday, so it might happen in the future.
