Here it is the end of June. I have only seen a couple of Bees, I have not seen any honey bees. Robins and other birds of color are a rare sight. Usually Bees and these birds are everywhere. The Blackbird, Raven Crow, whatever you want to call it, Population has sky rocketed. These blackbirds are gigantic many with 3 foot wingspans. You see about 30 or 40 of these birds for every mile you drive.
something has changed. coyote population is also up. Rare to see a coyote but I have seen 4 so far this year. Is anyone else noticed such a dramatic change in wildlife?

I'm not that far from where you are and i've got plenty of the usual here.

As far as cayotes, there isnt a cat left in the neighborhood. :shk:

We do have what i call locusts that come out like every 17 years, i forget the name- they make this wild racket all day long- big as airplanes.

The sound is like that of a horror movie- I suppose it could be worse, it could be frogs which terrify me

Are these things what your talking about DG?

animals.nationalgeographic.com...

they're called cicadas and they 'come out' every 17 years.

Do you mean that all the cats in your area have been killed by cayotes?
that really sucks, I love cats.
