I only read the first few pages so maybe this was already mentioned but while you guys are arguing over whether or not animated/drawn depictions of
nude children should be illegal, did you know that ACTUAL photographs and videos of child nudity is classified as art and is completely legal? At
least in the United States...
It would be silly to ban the fake stuff and keep the real, wouldn't it?
But to address the topic specifically, this brings us the question of what should be classified as art and what as pornography. Without getting too
graphic, does porn equal physical sexual contact, the human body without clothing, or something as petty as a kiss? This subject is complicated,
delicate and open to a wide range of interpretations.
Personally, I think the idea of banning drawings, no matter what they depict, is ridiculous.
After reading some of the comments in this thread I'm glad that final legislative decisions are left up to Constitutional lawyers.
