I hear you but some folk on this thread are ignoring the fact that when you PURCHASE pics like these you are assisting and enabling the rape of babies - peeps don't GIVE pics like this away - they cost $$$$ - that money goes to up the food chain to the perpetrators....so when one owns those kind of pics one is not innocent of simply "looking"....

Easy solution: Advertise this guy is going to be dropped off in London, or Glasgow, on a certain date, at 10PM, next to his photo and his crimes.
No more problem.
The tax money saved from keeping this fool alive and comfortable can be spent on childrens charities and education. I'm sure Bernardos and Save the children would like the 30,000 a year it costs to look after a sicko like this.
If he was in Texas, he would be sitting on the row, waiting to meet his maker. It is obvious the guy is a major problem - as Lenin said " death is the ultimate solution. No man, no problem". An easy way to tackle the problem elements of society. Murderers and predators found guilty, should just be lined up and shot. Simple as that. Take out some of the cancer of society, neatly and efficiently. Give them the same mercy that they gave. I wouldn't lose any sleep over them - in fact I would sleep better knowing my wife and kid and family, friends and neighbours were that much safer with every one of them that's dispatched!

They will get there punishment in due time. I have realized lately it is not our place to punish the wicked. Im not on a God rant so chill, im saying what goes around comes around.

There has to be a balance in the universe everything is made up of this balance and for people who disturb the balance by taking a life or something of the sort then they will receive an equal punishment when the balance comes back to them.

It may sound crazy but its true. We have no idea the workings of the universe. We only think of the limited time that we are here on earth, but there is so much more after this life so if they arent punished for awhile, be patient they will get what they deserve for disturbing the universe balance.

Now that does not mean that we cant separate them from society, by all means remove them and lock them away. But we should not upset the balance through mindless revenge or we would find ourselves in their spot. Its not our responsibility.

Wow my first post and i get trashed by someone who cannot properly read two whole sentences. Cute. I fail to see where i said ANYTHING about being a genetic mistake if you don't want to murder this individual. In fact, I don't see where I said anything at all about murdering anyone.....let me decipher for you. All i meant was most decent people have something inside them that clicks when they see or know of someone/something being hurt or abused that can't defend itself....making them want to PROTECT them. You're right, I'm sorry. I've just been reading all of these flaming posts about this man needing to be killed, brutally raped, thrown in a meat grinder and such and just lashed out. The idea that a anyone had a genetic predisposition for the above types of actions just made me angry and fly off.

If this guy was just a collector of films, and not a producer, it seems that the police should have put him on surveillance, in order to catch the more dangerous and even more disgusting scum who are actually making these movies.

I'm going to go against the tide of "crucify him" to ask a couple of questions to the thread that bother me. First of all, the thread title reads "Worst child abuse in history" but this man didn't actually abuse any children according to the article. He was arrested for having pictures of other people abusing children.

You see, this is where I get confused because we have overwhelming evidence of child abuse and we spend our resources going after a person who has not involved in the abuse.

Let's change it a bit to see the logic. Suppose we have a man who is found to have videos of a brutal robbery and stabbing that he enjoys watching. Police find the videos and, by analogy throw the man in jail for enjoying watching the videos and don't bother investigating the crime documented on the video.

Let me be very clear that I have no sympathy for the man charged, because anyone who enjoys watching another living being being brutalized and hurt, sexually or not, is a sadist and needs help. If this gentleman had actually been a perpetrator of the violence, then he would be a danger to society.

The part that really gets me angry is that everyone is patting themselves on the back for a job well done and enjoying the public pillorying of this man, but what about the children who were in the porn? Aren't they are the real victims? Why is no one in the media or on this thread demanding to know what is being done to track down these children and save them from this abuse or to find their abusers and stop these sadistic criminals.

As it stands, nothing was really accomplished in terms of making this a safer world. There is alot of spin and media coverage and lot of self congratulatory self promotion, but the abuse still continues.

I would suggest that those who are expressing such hatred towards this man in the report refocus their rage against the real criminals here, the ones who made the porn and demand that the same efforts be put into stopping the real abuse as is put into those who download pictures off the internet.

It seems to me that if we stopped the abuse, then we would stop the porn that is produced from the abuse.

The last couple of posters are right actually. This guy shouldn't have been arrested yet, he should have been put under surveillance for a while so that we could bust the whole ring that is producing these videos and actually committing the atrocities.

On the capital punishment thing, yeah the guy in question/the actual video-makers might not be committing murder, but come on, they're definitely ruining lives forever. Isn't that just as bad as murder, or even worse?

Anyway the guy hasn't been sentenced to execution, so there's not much anyone can do about it. He just better make sure that he's under constant guard and never comes into contact with any inmates that know his crimes, he'll be ripped to shreds within seconds.

again, justice is blind... I live in southwest CT. Seems like every year now, for past 8 years, thies alwasy 3 to 4 pedophiles jsut in my area alone. SO, when htier caught, they register as sex offenders, do VERY mino prison time, then are allowed back into public, while someone with marijuanna or coc aine gets 8 - 15 years, dependping on thier role and intent of usage. Sick world indeed. guy same age as me, i knew since kindergarten lives about 3 blocks from me. He is a registered sex offender, he has been arrested 5 times, trying to pick up young boys at middle school. He is seeing a special psychiatrist, has been since he was a kid, thats why they wont lock him up.
Seems like the law is more concerned about my sealtbelt, than picking up these sicko predators of kids..
I noticed some had said in jail, the convicted pedophile will be dealt with... naturally, even prisoners murderers, rapists, drug users find these types scum... i dont think its as common anymore. I remember chattin with someone one day, few years ago, and thy had chatted with someone they knew in security... and that person siad, they generally take care of pedophiles in jail, cause they know the other prisoners are just wiating to get a piece of him...so generally, the pedohile is locked up, more or less, in an isolated cell of his own, for his duration, for protection.
cant say its true, but then agian, whens the last time yuo heard of a pedophile in prison, getting his fair share, on the news/?

No problem, apology accepted, and thank you. Really when it comes to child abuse/rape most peoples instant reaction is that of total violence, a lot of the times coming up with such sadistic punishments that they even rival that of what the criminal did. I don't have kids i have animals, and if anyone harmed them bad things would happen so i cant imagine how a parent would feel if one of their kids had been molested.

My opinion is that the second you're seen as a potential risk around children, to be locked up. They have loony-bins for a reason...to hold crazy and mentally disturbed people. In the psychology world, one thing is common knowledge....child molesters almost never can be rehabilitated to fully lose the urge to re-offend. Sad but true. So every time a child rapist gets set free and re-offends, society has failed miserably since so very few have ever gone from being attracted to children to losing that and becoming attracted to fellow adults.

Rarely have I ever been so disgusted by anything in my entire life. The report says the police officers who saw and heard this stuff will be haunted forever, but just reading the part about one victim still having an umbilical cord attached will haunt me forever.

Such people indulging in such actions are worthless, they are not worth a bean, their lives are so putrid, so debased, so evil that they deserve a more torturous form of death than a simple execution, they deserve to die slowly and with great pain.

Some liberal twits will waffle about that making us as bad as them, but no, no it doesnt, the state should enshrine freedom by making examples out of such verminous filth.

One of our celebrity criminals called Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read wrote a series of novels about his life. You can probably find them in the USA and if they're cheap, I would recommend them for a laugh. On a side note, Chopper is fifty-something now and has been out of jail maybe eight years or so. He's been diagnosed with a bad liver and will die in a few years.

Anyway, Chopper wrote how they sometimes dealt with 'rock spiders' (kiddy predators) in Pentridge Prison (which was demolished for housing many years ago). Imagine a long, thin tube, similar to electrical conduit, being inserted somewhere. Then imagine a long piece of barbed wire being fed into the tube. Finally, imagine the tube being swiftly pulled out to leave the barbed wire behind. It's in his book - I suggest you read it.

This is a breach of EU Human Rights. You are not allowed to imprison somebody "indefinitely", regardless of the crime.

Why are some of you questioning whether he was a producer? It says right in the article that he pleaded guilty to making the material.
