June 27 (Bloomberg) -- The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, off India's eastern coast, were struck by two earthquakes in two hours, according to Indian and U.S. monitoring agencies.
The first quake hit the islands at 5:10 p.m. local time today, the India Meteorological Department said in a statement. A second quake, measuring 6.1 was felt at 7:10 p.m. local time, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
