Why do you think we need to have made contact with aliens by now? For example we could make contact in 10 years time.

I doubt whether we are 'alone' but if we were I don't see a problem with it. Alien life would be OK, but to need it is weird. And there are those that do 'need' it to be true.

If we are truly alone then the universe will have gotten a lot stranger.

If I was an alien, i dont think i want to visit a planet where im likely to get killed, studied or create panic.
