Text of petition

To: U.S. Congress

We the people for The United States of America do hereby petition the Congress for The United States of America to vote into law the following legislation.

Transparency of Loyalty in Government Amendment: A proposal to keep citizens safe from cultivated treason against The United States of America.

"If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honour, or accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, foreign power, or secret society, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them."

The intent of the Amendment is to ensure that no citizen hold any allegiance that would stand in contradiction to the free and open nature of the United States of America.

That would be a good idea except perhaps for one little detail: The Constitution (Article 1, Section 9, Clause 8) already covers it.

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.
Nobility, Title of:
Nobility is technically a station in society that is had simply by being born into the right family. The class of persons, well-characterized by the aristocracy of Great Britain, were considered to be higher in status and power because of the family name. A title of nobility indicated that status, where a person was a king, queen, prince, princess, count, countess, duke, duchess, baron, or baroness; these titles were granted by the monarch at some point in the family history and passed from parent to child. The Framers wished to ensure that no such system of heredity developed in the United States and specifically prohibited any state or the federal government from granting any title of nobility.

emolument n [ME, fr. L emolumentum, lit., miller's fee, fr emolere to grind up] : the product (as salary or fees) of an employment Source: New Merriam-Webster's Dictionary

Since I haven't been able to find any examples of Congress granting any such Consent to anyone, I'd propose that rather than making a new Amendment of it, probably be better to demand enforcement! It may not hurt to also help support one particular investigation in progress: Determine the true fate of the Missing 13th Amendment.

"Office of Profit" is overwritten as it is simply a shelter for "non commercial" agencies to develop policy and "Consent of the Congress" is removed due to the nature of such temptations of corruption inherit to office. The original language simply was not strong enough, seemingly prompting the highly contested 13th Amendment as you cited.

I feel this new stronger language would overturn ANY agreements the Congress has made throughout the years with foreign and internal powers. Thus giving the congress a method of removing the yoke of commercial strain. Our entire country is in receivership after all isnt it? Its time for America to ask for her rights back from the Administrators. Give Congress back the power to save itself.

Since there is at least prima facie evidence supporting the actual ratification of that missing Amendment (which does already contain very strong language), it would probably be better to find the actual "smoking gun proof" that it was indeed ratified.

Think of it this way: If the PTB wanted to "bury" the Amendment in the first place, to the extent that they'd cover up the real evidence even that long ago, what makes you think that the current Congress would be likely to let a similar Amendment proposal be ratified?

You'd have a better chance of getting the 10 Commandments through...Especially if you bought enough drinks to get it passed through Congress & get Bush drunk enough to forget to veto it.
