Yes I am very careful with the laser pointer especially as their has been some media coverage of those sort of incidents and I would never point it an aircraft - and I agree I am being optimistic with my little camera setup.

WHat about a raytheon thermal imaging camera?

Of course if you guys are looking out for us, then I'd rather help than hinder! Is there anything we can do to assist?

I am baffled how an entire town is unable to produce pictures. This is a UFO "capital?" One would think there would be an abundance of cameras amongst the townfolk, there should have been a ton of photographic evidence. One would almost suspect they invented this to stay on the map as the "ufo capital of Australia.."

I had a thought, are any of these exercises possible practice scenarios for the US and Israel going into Iran, reaosn I thought that is I have read they have a window before Iran gets delivery of a new russian air defense system.

Has the tech you mentioned been run up against something like the Russian S-300 or S-400 missile defense systems? Does the tech that the US and Israel might be fielding compare favourably against what Iran has on the ground?

What would be the best all round surface to air missile system available at the moment?

Against our tech sunburns would be useless .against the american fleet , deadly . The Israeli's dictate US policy at the moment but now they are loosing political traction everywhere and the panic is setting in . But since you asked how to make a magnet runner I will tell you how to make for yourself a crude demonstration of the principle .
Take a ring magnet ,break it in half. Put one half on a flat level table.
Take the other half with poles facing down at 180 degrees to the break so the poles repel. Now jerk the magnet down sharply between fingers .

Once you get the knack of it you can make the lower magnet spin very rapidly . A proper magnet runner is simply two sets of repelling magnets mounted in discs facing each other . as long as they are running on low friction bearings all you have to to do is get the discs spinning fast enough for the repulsion to keep kicking them round and bingo , they will keep on spinning until the magnets loose power or your bearings crap out .

Now this is a very primitive version of the device but just about every ET uses this tech for usefull power output . Its simple cheap non polluting but has limitations too.
