Assuming that there is a god (Which I believe that there is), how would he look? Would he be tall or small? Strong or weak? This is something that I can't even start to imagine how he looks. Well, why don't you all tell me what you think God would look like...

Thanks,
J.

Then why do you try to?

We can't imagine the appearance of God but I can tell you this much:

He doesn't have blonde hair and blue eyes and he's not white.

He could be. Just as he could have black hair, brown eyes and dark skin.

God looks exactly how he wants to look. Different people will see him in different ways. No one is wrong.

No, everyone is wrong.

Trying to depict God is the most blasphemous crime.

He's not white, black, purple, yellow, or pink.

He's God.

Exactly. But he knows that people find it easier to relate to someone if they can visualise him. So it makes no difference to God how someone sees him - as long as they recognise and venerate him as is his due.

That is blasphmey.

Why is it so difficult to understand?

This is an argument because people in the past decided to depict God in their paintings. This is why we're having this argument.

Sistine Chapel.

Blasphemy

1. An indignity offered to God in words, writing, or signs; impiously irreverent words or signs addressed to, or used in reference to, God; speaking evil of God; also, the act of claiming the attributes or prerogatives of deity.

I have not offered any indignity towards God, neither have I used abusive words against him, or spoken evil of him. And I certainly have never said that I am he.

So how can what I said earlier be considered blasphemous ?

just to correct you, when a black person expresses ricism to a white person, it is just racism. not reverse racism. this is a misconception by people because the american image of racism was limited to white on black or white on asian racism for so long, that people associate racism against white people with a reversal or opposite of that. reverse discrimination however, is to discriminate against a dominate or majority group, especially when resulting from policies established to correct discrimination against members of a minority or disadvantaged group.

now that thats over, I'M RICK JAMES, BITCH!!!

if you're saying rick james is god, i would have to disagree, as he has probably sinned more than anyone, but Dave Chappelle, i can believe.

Absolutely. God is nature; God is the universe.

Wow, thanks everyone. What you guys said makes a good deal of sense to me
. I agree, maybe god doesn't physically "look" like anything...maybe as Illmatic67 said, he's god...doesn't look anyone...and ZeroDeep you sound very insightful. Thanks everyone else who responded too!

Well assuming that it exists, I'd say that god looks exactly like you when you meet him. To everyone he'll look like them.
