So ATS members pointed out that the media is the most powerful weapon in the world, yes i thought of it but assumed that a physical weapon would do the most damage: but if you can manipulate the media you can do and have what ever you want!

Media is the most influential tool in the world. I would not technically or descriptively, call it a 'weapon'.

On top of that, besides media, I would add the internet.

In generality, yes, your statement is correct. However, it is usually possible to convert tools into weapons; it's simply a matter of usage.

In the case of the media, I can completely see it as a potential weapon.

But of course, the media is totally useless against people like me who totally ignore it.

Even if you ignore it, it still affects you.

I can agree that it still has some sort of effect on you whether you 'ignore' it or not. If you don't even see it (living in the woods with no modern technology), I could see that being a difference.

well there is a small % of people like you and me that the influence is not as great but when you get lets say 80v20% if it dont matter if it affects you.

Most dangerous weapon ever is something very common. They are cars, think about it. More people die from car then bullets or ANY other weapon.

Imo the mind is the powerfulliest as it is the most creative weapon in the world as it creates all weapons and can use/disarm them also the mind via programing weapons makes them as deadly or as undealy as need be

Well, I agree with SeekOf, the media isn't exactly a weapon, but it could be used to spreak massive propaganda and to create a panic. Example: if CNN, MSNBC or anyother major news network would say how that something like a terrorist ground invasion were to occcur that would certainly cause panic stricken civilians to run the streets with guns. .

I think you need to readl Behold a Pale Horse. The title of one of the chapters is Silent weapons for a Quiet War. The illumaniti basically declared war on the american people.

People might think this is not true, but the turth of the matter is that a physical weapon such as a nuke is infact the most powerful weapon in the terran(human) arsenal.

The fact is that when certain particles of atoms are split or collide, they will create a MASSIVE chain reaction, many people seem to underestimate the strength of a NUKE.

A nuke if used properly can kill millions of people over a span of one generation and even more due to radiation and mutatuion. Car accidents do not compare neither does the human mind, if the human mind was so powerful, then y not use that in stead of a nuke? The fact that terrans use nuke is a sign of pure stupidity, it is damaging the life cycle of a human civilian throught out the entire world of Terra(Earth in latin).

A physical weapon is more powerful than a mental one for the fact that it ACTUALLY CAUSES terminal damage.
although mental powers are a good way to gain an advantage over your enemy without fire arms, a bullet is alot more powerful than a word.

To top it all off, the fact that we HAVE used nukes twice is a sure fact that we will use them once again, it is not intelligent to wipe out your own nation, what is the point of haveing mental power if there is noone to control?

The power of the media relies on the power of the people for without the people the media has no effect on any nation on this doom forsaken planet of ours.

Plus Terrans allthrough out history due to warfare have been forced to recreate technologies that have already been invented 2000 years ago such as the first simple computer made in ancient greece or the brain surgery techniques used in ancient Rome, these are all methods of peaceful technological advancments lost to war.

The Terran race is not a peaceful one, we are constantly under civil war, we fight each other over greed and little problems. these are actual lives at loss, but there is nothing the PEOPLE can do, for the media is only a fluential tool and not a terminal weapon.

The media is not a weapon more like a tool used for informing people sometimes of the truth and sometimes lies. I think nuclear wepons are the most powerful in the world, and the most made.
