I want to upgrade my computer to this. How does this look?

Intel Pentium 4 processor at 3.20GHz w/ 800FSB

512MB Dual Channel DDR SDRAM at 400MHz

80GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive

128MB DDR ATI RADEON 9800 Pro

Could anyone tell me offhand how much this would be (including an upgrade to XP)? And is there anything else I should get upgraded?

Bump the RAM up to a gig if you can afford it.

Check www.computergeeks.com... for good prices.

Bump the RAM up to gig? What does that mean?

Instead of 512mb of RAM, get 1GB ... 2 sticks of 512mb.
I don't know what kind of RAM your machine takes, but computergeeks.com is selling it for between $75-109 per stick.
Makes a huge difference in the computer's operation, especially if you like video games & other memory-heavy apps.

Check www.newegg.com for great prices from one reliable place. Or check www.pricewatch.com for even better prices from many different places. 512mb of RAM should be plenty for just bout everything....What mobo are you using?
