Wow...like the main issue is a war with islam. lol. Im sure those 25 military personel speaking out against 9/11 are all wrong. PhD's and high ranking. there was no terroristic attacks and 9/11 was 7 years ago.

Anti-american, yea right. We are anti-Elite which have enslaved the whole west and possibly beyond. Its like people are robots, parroting these cliches programmed into them. We keep explaining more and more details and they keep yapping the same 10 innaccurate cliches over and over.

Yea ive traveled too and we are lucky compared to many countries. So i guess we should just be thankful and allow the Elite to rape us for trillions. They have more money and power than the US govt spending power.

Yea go to school get a job....lol. Have u seen these poor people. Some of their parents are beyond retarded. Have anothing to offer in knowledge or money. Do drugs, maybe beat their kids. Like they have the same chances as these Elite kids. Its all paid for, Daddy has 50 other elite mafia friends to hand him a sweet job.

You are brainwashed, man you should seriously quit watching fox news.

Let me guess you think you are a "conservative". So that means you like huge government, huge taxes, and total liberty loss.

-Bin Laden is friends with the Bush family, they have been for many years.

-9/11 was an inside job.

-Saddam Hussain had nothing to do with 9/11.

-Our actions since 9/11 have successfully pissed off about 95% of the worlds population.(Understandably)

-Our grandchildren will remember George W Bush in the exact same light as we remember Adolph hitler.

-We now live in a police state, where a bunch of idiots arrest you for having a pocket constitution in your vehicle.

-Gov't agencies have unlimited power to listen to your phonecalls, read your e-mails, and regular mail without telling you.

-Martial law can be declared by the president for any reason, suspending the bill of rights.

Are you a cop?

If so you better do some reading, because if you go around trampling on peoples rights, and privacy to catch the boogyman(that doesn't even exist), you will be held accountable, sooner than later.

These people are like dogs. They get fed some bones and are happy as heck. Meanwhile their masters are living in paradise from the work the dogs have done.

Oh well it could be worse , some dogs dont even have bones. So ill just be a proud american dog thankful for my bone.

You know what really irks me. The dumb, lazy, scared people are the ones who are going to get us imprisoned. We will be the ones dying during the rebllion and theyll be sitting on their couch obeying. And then after half of us are dead, theyll reap the benefits.

The good news is change is coming. Astrologically this is the year of disillusionment. So many are waking up this year. Luckily we dont need 100% to wake up to change the world.

You may want to read the Constitution sometime, because this is exactly the type of thing it was written to protect us against:

- John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007

- The Patriot Act

- USA Patriot Improvement and Reauthorization Act of 2005

- Military Commissions Act of 2006

Look them up on: thomas.loc.gov...

As much as the US is imperfect, I enjoy living here very much.

I wonder how many people that have posted on here can claim to have lived overseas for several decades before moving to the United States.

Just saying. People have it much easier here than in the vast majority of nations.

Instead of complaining all the time, try looking at some of the positive aspects. Can't find any? Well, sucks to be you

Justice11-

Seriously, thats the most ridiculous post I've ever read on ATS.

Let me guess :

You think 9.11 happened the exact way the feds claim it did right?

You think Israel is "just another peaceful little nation trying to support democracy in the mideast right?

You think Israel is a friend of the U.S. right?

I for one dont give a damn if someone is running around naked, or wants to drug their life away. It's none of my concern. Btw, disagree all you like, that's another thing I don't care about.

I don't like republicans, democrats, "conservatives," or "liberals".

I love capitalism, it's made my life pretty damn comfortable.

This is the freedom land. If you aren't lazy, you truly have the opportunity too prosper. Higher education and a good honest job, that's the ticket to freedom.
Thanks,
Vance

Okay Vance. Since you have it all figured out maybe you can help me. I had a good job with health insurance but I got sick. I went to the doctors for treatment (which was a joke) then insurance company refused to pay , calling it pre existing condition(endometrisis). $12,000 bill I'm stuck with now. Kept working and developed carpal tunnel, insurance company refused to pay said it could never be caused by my repetitive motion job. Appealed and denied then fired. Applied for disability and was denied because my symptoms not severe enough (HA). Applied for food stamps but since I was staying with family member I was denied, but case worker said if I lived in my car I would be approved. I worked for 20 years from age 15 to 36. I paid all my taxes. This is what this country has become. It no longer matters if you work hard and are honest. The only ones who are doing good in this country are the corrupt corporations who lie, steal and cheat their workers and consumers.

I am so glad that I live in a alternate US than you slack.
While I see some of you points I can not agree with them all.
A bit jaded for a 30-something aren't we?
And I though I had the corner on being a cynic and a pessimist.

We have plenty of freedoms.
While we have lost some, most are still in place.
Then again, people will start saying that I am not "enlightened" or one of those other wonderful phrases that people on this site love to throw around.

While there is a lot a bad things going on in the world; there are a lot of bad things going on in the world.

Did you get that?

Life of full of circles and cycles.
Maybe you should try to break some.
Try a bit of optimism with your coffee.

Oh, so simply because you can't "stifle" something you disagree with, you're upset? There you go, the loss of free speech. And that was brought on by yourself, not the government.

sounds like somebody's swallowed the Man's lies hook line and sinker! there is no real war going on. if you would travel and live in other countries like i have the past 6 years (out of the US almost 15 times in that time period living in europe and asia) you would see normal people going about their daily business with no war in sight. The only war going on is in the middle east (like always) and afghanistan. And I bet a lot of that is either started by US imperialists for oil or ideological control or is made up by the US to create a feeling of fear in its citizens; because if the majority figure out "hey its ok outside the US, in fact its better!!' then the US loses because the Man is afraid of everyone waking up and leaving the country. That is the good option too! The other option they are afriad of is bad option, which is americans fighting their own government, which will happen if there is no release valve, ie travel.

just my two cents. So i think you have been brainwashed. Get out more.

Hi Slacker,

Interesting post.

They allow more of our liberty to be taken away

Such as?

well one example, a mother's right to carry breast milk in a container on a plain without tampering with it or classifying it a 'dangerous substance'.

They allow the government to infringe on more and more of our rights in the name of "fighting terror",

Such as?

A person's ability to seek employment without going through an intrusive background check as if they were applying for a security clearance ( have you seen the I-9 forms?). www.uscis.gov...

I ask these questions for clarification. I for one do not know of a personal
freedom or liberty that has been stripped away by our Government.

ok...just sit tight and watch when the Interstate travel visa's are enacted and enforced. While on the same subject, how about those checkpoints 'russian style' going up in Washington D.C. soon to be all over?

I sometimes get the feeling people regurgitate media sound bites in order to seem well informed.

My final question to you would be; Is there a country you think is more of
a model for what you seek as one of it's citizens?

Yep!...try "Norway" Prisoners leave prison daily to go to REAL jobs, supporting the economy and actually being reformed as model citizens, their healthcare is excellent (and FREE), everyone is afforded the same excellent level of healthcare. Meanwhile back here, people are given aid at the expense of taxpayers, only to have the government demand it back from them.

So in essence, they look 'good' in the media's eye for all the help they deliver (often times much too late) This country spends more on WAR on ____ than it does on improving the quality of life for it's own citizens.

It allows yuppie stock traders to gamble on energy futures so the price of a gallon of gas leaves many to choose between FOOD or fuel. All the while outsourcing everything to support other countries. It is the largest working example of a dysfunctional household (yard's mowed, house is painted nice...but inside every thing is falling to rack-n-ruin).

Were still better off than most of the other nations. Except Germany, boy was life comfortable there
.

Life here is monotonous, everyday we do the same thing over and over again.

But we still live comfortable lives in comparison.

Try reading it again. It isn't me that wants to stifle anything, its the retards that make up a large portion of the general public.
