Yeah, he's telling the truth...he is actually on of the chief inventors of the internet as we know it. I remember seeing him in a documentary that we had to watch in Cisco CCNA Certification class in high school. Its pretty cool to know how the internet actually started as ARPANet for communication between computers in the DoD. They would have never imagined, back then, the internet would become what it is today. Pretty amazing stuff.

I did not study where it came from or who was involved in creating it or any thing like that. But this man is part of history and has defently left his mark.

Yes, the internet was actually created because the United States DoD was looking for a way that their computers could communicate with one another in a state of emergency due to the Cold War. Hence ARPANet. In 1988 the public caught on.

wow, thats some pretty interesting stuff. But unfortunatly they didnt plan on it becoming so big, otherwise they would have made it a little more suited to that.
