UFOs over Liverpool UK - BBC news & several sightings
news.bbc.co.uk
A Liverpool man claims to have seen several UFOs hovering in the sky around the city and filmed them on his phone.
Vince Pybis said he saw a light above the bushes in Sefton Park and got his phone to film it, by which time six more had appeared.
Callers into BBC Radio Merseyside's also said they saw the lights in the Knotty Ash and Prescot areas.
Merseyside Police said they were not worried and no-one called the control room about the sightings.
But Mr Pybis said: "I'm a sceptic, I didn't believe in UFOs. But until you've actually seen one - well I saw seven - then I thought, they are out
there." (visit the link for the full news article)

I did a few searches on ATS and couldnt see anything about this - but I could be wrong.
This was just on BBC TV news so I thought I'd check out their website and here is the report! Seems like quite a few people saw the lights too.....
The video does indeed look quite odd to me

Incidently, here is an old page from 2003 which has a photo of a similar type of formation in the sky.

Hey cool find, starred and flagged, even though the footage is not great, i believe this guy, he seems genuine.
The reporter said they've put it down to a weather phenomenon?! Or aircrafts, there are 7 of them!?
Nice to see more and more footage coming out, that the media seems happy to report, has 2008 already been a bumper year for UFO's? and we 're not
even half way yet.

Yes, everytime I see a UFO story on the TV I start thinking to Darknights thread. Seems like these kind of stories are becoming much more common, even
on mainstream TV.
I'm not sure how that video can be a weather phenomenon though!!

Okay, some conclusions after seeing this and regarding what happened at Cardiff.;
- Either these are hoaxes
- The MOD is testing something
- Or something odd is going on.

Don't know if it's relevant, but BAe have a significant presence up in the North and, since 2004 they have been in cahoots with several
Universities, including Liverpool, to develop the next generation of UAV's, a project called FLAVIIR.
The pictures themselves are the usual inconclusive lights that, in all honesty, could be anything from a Goa'uld mothership to a formation of
Typhoons...

The Sun newspaper has a massive front page cover of a UFO sighting...
reported by the British army over a military base in the United Kingdom. Numerous UFOs were reported from soliders. We will not have the link to the
story for a few hours.
Here is their website, keep checking

This what I'm talking about!! I think the orbs are the good guys!
Tons of these orb videos are popping up and I don't think that anyone can scream lens flare with this one.

The Sun will be printing with the headline 'Army' Spot UFO's Over Shropshire this morning.
It's all going on in the UK!

interesting... these look just like something unidentifiable that myself and one of my neighbours saw, over Worthing, West Sussex at approx 5pm on
Monday 22 June 08. We watched for about 5 minutes, was moving in strange way (back and forth) and occasionally stopping dead still in sky before
totally disappearing. This was on a bright, clear blue sky, sunny day. It was cleary visible and like an orange orb.

These things are very normal here in the UK. The amber orange type ufo orb is exactly as Spielberg portrayed it in Close Encounters. They are not
military, they are not weather, they are a living thing that usually travel in groups and here's the thing, connected to a mothership. This is real.

Don't you just despise the BBC Coverage?
They have to make a joke out of it, stick the X-Files music on in the background and to cap it all off the film cuts to a shot of an out of focus
plane, and then of a circular park bench.
If I was that guy, I'd be seriously considering some kind of litigation against them for making me look like an idiot.

yeah,I agree, they could have done without the xfiles BS. At least the sun took it seriously, and i can't believe i said that. The sun, took it more
seriously than the BBC,there. It's a fact.

Good job the UFO's didn't land in Liverpool, they would have had their alien hubcaps stolen by the time they got back to their ships, or found them
up on bricks...
I love Scouser's really , me Nan's one..
