Very sad news.I really loved George's comedy. He was one of the few comics that made me laugh at simple jokes.Example:"did you ever catch yourself digging through a loaf of bread to find a fresh slice?"
R.I.P. George,we'll miss you!

A rude, crude, classic and extremley funny comedian who has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. I think at times my sense of looking at life and people through humor came from the influences of comedians such as Carlin. RIP George, your talent will be missed.

GeorgeKnap of C2C was just saying that

That is such terrible news, he was a brilliant performer. He wasn't just a great comedian, he also managed to make audiences think. Deifinately one of the funniest people to ever live.

R.I.P.

I met Mr. Carlin once. He was a genuinely kind, sweet man. I place him up there with the likes of Richard prior.
Rest in peace myy friend.

I think he'd want us to laugh and remember him when his time came.

We celebrate his life and all the years of laughter he brought all of us!

may Peace b upon George Carlin,
Much respect due! I learned a lot of "stuff" from him 2. His contribution made the world a little better for so many. He was a brilliant & courageous dude who captured comedy at its finest. He will be missed big time; 1 of the last 1s with real "heart." may we all b blessed with the light of understanding from his example.
