US citizens actually think the USA is a "Good Nation" and their guys are the "Good Guys".
Norman Dodd, former director of the Committee to Investigate Tax Exempt Foundations of the U.S. House of Representatives, testified that the Committee was invited to study the minutes of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace as part of the Committee's investigation. The Committee stated: "The trustees of the Foundation brought up a single question. If it is desirable to alter the life of an entire people, is there any means more efficient than war.... They discussed this question... for a year and came up with an answer: There are no known means more efficient than war, assuming the objective is altering the life of an entire people. That leads them to a question: How do we involve the United States in a war. This is in 1909."
What Really Caused World War 1?

I do feel as though the U.S. people,on average, are happily asleep to this fact.
whats the point of packing your bags and moving on to another country?
Why not use your evil'ness and your own country's world power to take over the new country and indoctrinate it into your own?

Well, now this is a big surprise!! A thread bashing the US!! And on ATS!!
OK, as other posters have said, if the US is so evil, how come we offer aid to other countries when they have disasters? They don't have to take it, but it's offered.
Grabbing up the worlds resources? You mean like China is doing in Africa right now?
Global Warming? The US is probably one of the few contries that are trying to reduce emissions. Don't see China and India doing anything like that.
And using the Atomic bomb in Japan. Well, I don't know how "illegal" they were, since we were the first to have them and use them, but have you spoken to anyone that was fighting in the Pacific? Sure, we could have not used the bomb and invaded Japan with ground troops. Nice bloody battle that would have been, since everyone was mobilized to fight the Allies; men, women, children, the old folks, etc.
Try reading some history before you make claims like this.

Are you talking about America as a whole or just the leaders of our great nation? If you are referring to the leaders then I say yes. If you are speaking of Americans as whole than i say no, although it does seem as more and more are willing to cross that point of no return. Maybe because we are all taught to play "Follow the Leader" as we were children. It really makes me sick.

Clearly inflammatory post, either by another member of the ordo ab chaos crowd trying to get more hatred amongst populations of the world, or a victim of the ordo ab chaos crowd that dosen't see that all nations are mirrors of themselves, all are part of the same fractal and the stuff you see abroad was part of your history too.
Any military anywhere is a threat to world peace. Any violent thought in any head is a threat to peace. Labeling this with a national flag is missing the reality of the human situation.

I think YOU better read some history , Then test it to see if you read History correct. Because youre wrong. Prove me wrong if you think i am.
What you say here dident bring the US into the war, they where in the war at that time. But do you realy know why you where in the war in the first place. Maybe you wouldent have had to drop the A- bomb if you knew that.
But the truth is that you realy dident have a coise. The deal was made with out youre knowlage. And it was ment to be like that. So you would go to war in the first place. Pearl harbor was just the right reason you americans needed to whant to go to war. But it was a staged senario to get youre approval. But you got to read more than history to know this.
