The creature - which has six legs - has stunned BBC wildlife experts who warned it could be an early warning of environmental problems.

Laura Pepper, from the Green Umbrella nursery in Weston-super-Mare, said: "We thought it was three frogs huddled together at first.

I've seen video of frogs that had 16 or more legs coming out of every angle on their bodies, including their heads, so a three headed/bodied frog really isn't a shock. Its still disturbing though.

With chemicals in the air at all times and the nuclear fallout from the 20th century arms testing still on the ground and in the water (which will be around for thousands of years), such mutants should come as no surprise to anybody now.

Poor little head on the bottom, the head on the right is squishing it
....

But I mean I don't want to see that hopping around....everywhere....maybe it is just the water that the egg for that thing was in....I would have liked to see that thing as a tadpole!

So are all three heads alive on that thing?

Frogs are proven to be early indicators of an environmental issue.

Usually deformities like this indicate a chemical pollution.

I'd like to see how the frog moves, behaves, eats, etc. It'd be interesting to watch. It's strange, though, I've never seen a frog like that one hopping around.
