What's wrong with our government?

When you think about it hard and long enough-- Democrats and Republicans both-- are just pushing for two different agendas for the USA. Republicans are pushing for a more warlike America. Democrats want less restrictions on things. Regardless of whether there is a Democrat or a Republican in congress we do know that the USA will remain on the same course that the elite have set on it. I just that the government has become really corrupt in modern times. No one knows what actually is going on within the higher levels of the government, and, no one tells the senators who make decisions much of anything. The people who are the higher ups are pulling all of the strings. I just don't like how our country has turned out.
