Confidence in Congress at Record Low-12%! Gallup Poll

news.yahoo.com

Only 12 percent of Americans now have confidence in Congress, the lowest percentage in the 35 years that the Gallup Poll has tracked the number.

Americans now view Congress less favorably than any of the 14 other American institutions tracked by Gallup, including big business, newspapers and health maintenance organizations.

Well, there is one positive sign in this--That is that people appear to have no choice but to finally start waking up to the reality of this illusionary "bi-partisan" facade, that is really just one giant crime family anymore, screwing us all over repeatedly. Now the question remains, how will we stop this continual greedy, lawless trainwreck of criminals?

While Americans have long viewed their local representative more favorably than Congress as a whole, the public's current view of Congress is exceptionally poor. Today's 19 percent approval rating (a different measure than “confidence”) ties the record low of August 2007 and March 1992.

Friday's survey showed an across-the-board disapproval of Washington, with only 32 percent of Americans expressing confidence in the Supreme Court.

That's only congress confidence? I think that many Americans has lost their confidence on government as a whole.

Well it doesn't help their case at all when people are seeing the US economy falling to pieces in front of their very eyes, and then they watch furiously as this Democratic congress (the ones that were supposed to change things up?) just this week approved another $165 BILLION to be thrown down the endless all consuming black hole in the ground that is the Iraq war.

How would anyone with half a brain feel? It truly appears as though nobody is in control of this mess at all. Like a runaway truck rolling down a mountain with nobody at the wheel.

Im suprised they garnered as much positive voting as they did to be honest. I would say 12% approval is being generous.

LOL-That 12% probably came from Congress themselves, and their corporate masters. And yes, not hard to fathom how nobody has confidence in them anymore after they have been doing nothing but screwing us all over, even after we voted in the dems as majority in hopes it would create some sort of difference. All that did was show us how entirely corrupt the entire system truly is. There is no difference between any of these crooks and criminals. They all serve the same interests, which have ZERO to do with taking this nation to a better place.
