Daniel Ken Inouye (born September 7, 1924) is a recipient of the Medal of Honor and currently serves as the senior United States Senator from Hawaii. He has been a senator for forty-five years, since 1963, a distinction that few senators have achieved, and is currently the third most senior member, after fellow Democrats Robert Byrd (West Virginia) and Ted Kennedy (Massachusetts). He was Hawaii's first representative after it became a state.

He is perfectly eligible for the presidency. These rules are for children born abroad. He was born in Hawaii, which was a state at the time of his birth, therefore, he is a citizen. This has been discussed several places on ATS, such as this thread and this thread, among others.

Sorry, no soap here in this story. He was born in 1961 in Hawaii, which was part of the U.S. at the time. You have no story here.
