'The Forgotten Fatherland'

If anyone is looking for an entertaining non-fiction "summer" read that combines history with real-life 'adventure', I highly recommend

The Forgotten Fatherland: the Search for Elisabeth Nietzsche

Basically, it is about the (dwindling) German community living in the middle of a South American jungle.

I read it in the summer of '97, and I still remember it as time well spent.
