Everytime I click on a thread, I add 2 view counts to it. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but I went to some of the oldest threads with
the same result.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I have seen this also. Somehow a 1 increment must happen because some threads have an odd number of views or if it starts at 1, some have an even
number.
Wonder if the 2 increment is more common than the 1.

I think sometimes it is 3.
