Plutonium washed down sink at NIST

Traces of plutonium spilled last week at the National Institutes of Standards and Technology in Boulder have been found in a laboratory sink, where the radioactive chemical may have washed into the city’s sewer system, NIST said in a news release Tuesday.

This is wrong on so many levels.

1. The Plutonium could have infected the cities water supply.
2. In 1985 Boulder City Council passed a resolution that banned all nuclear weapons plants, work, or research in Boulder.
3. We are willing to go to war with Iran because they are using nuclear material.

God Bless American hypocrisy and stupidity.

That's pretty bad indeed.

That laboratory wasn't constructed well either if the drainage goes to the public sewers
