Obviously, my first question had to be, is there any chance at all you and your friend hauled each others boats out and neither noticed until on the water? But you said yours was new and you entered the water at different times. So I don't know. Very cool stuff. Thanks again for sharing.

Yes, and this is why I am dumbfounded!

I purchased the boat. Drove in a separate car with my (inflatable) boat in the box. Blew my boat up with an air pump, entered the water. When I met up with my friend, he had his beat up same model boat already blown up, and he entered the water. I never got out of the water, I watch him enter with his duct-taped-repair boat, and we both headed out. I believe it was roughly an hour into the trip when I realized I had the faded, duct tape boat, and he had my new boat! When I yelled out, "YOU HAVE MY BOAT!!!!!" We were both in shock, as we didnt get out of the water after meeting, and have been paddling the same boat we got into when we entered the water.....Yet there we were with each others boat! I dont know what happened, no missing time, nothing else was strange, we didnt feel strange, just the boat switching.

BTW, for the people thinking we were under the influence at the time...Completely sober as a nun! What happened defied logical reasoning!

I also had a dream I was shot through the head, when I was younger (I believe I was around 13-14 years old).

In my dream, I was alone with my older sister. It was a hot summer day, during the holiday, and I suppose we were just relaxing around the dinner table with the back door open.
All of a sudden, there was a huge commotion when this... random guy with a gun broke in through the front door and started threatening us. He was completely wild and unreasonable, I had no idea what he wanted from us (I always figured he was some sort of escaped criminal). My sister and I fled through the backyard, but the guy with the gun caught up with me and grabbed me from behind, with his arm around my neck and his gun pointed at my temple. My sister hesitated and turned around, I remember him yelling something to her and my sister pleading with him to just calm down and put down the gun.
What happened next was quick, but seemed to last ages. Whether by accident or on purpose, he pulled the trigger and shot me right through the head. I fell down on the ground, my vision turning red. My sister dropped down on her knees besides me and cradled my head, crying. I tried to talk to her but I felt this great, absolute darkness tugging at my consciousness and I slipped away... it was the most frightening dream I've ever had, I've never forgotten it. Every summer I used to wonder if it was going to come true.

... anyway, it seems I got quite wordy there. Guess the feeling is still strong.

The only other really weird thing that happened to me is a UFO sighting. I was messing around in my backyard at night when I suddenly felt the need to look up. At first I didn't see anything, but after a moment this light the size of a star starts moving and looping around, pulling manoeuvres that would be impossible for a plane or helicopter. For a few seconds I just stood there staring, but then this huge feeling of fear spread throughout my body and I ran inside, locking the door (silly, I know). For a few years afterwards I felt really uncomfortable looking up at the sky and had some really strange nightmares involving UFOs.

That's about it, I guess! Somewhere, I'm glad I've never had a really intense experience. If I'd seen that shadow being one of the other posters described, I'd have gone mad.

This sounds like a lot of ufo videos I've seen on youtube and in various threads around this site. Have you seen any videos like these? Anything that reminded you of what you saw?

Off topic a bit, but I was just wondering, since I am not a person who goes to church, could I call up a local church and get a priest to bless my apartment? I have not SEEN anything here, but feel something here all the time. Every night before I go to bed, I tell whatever is here to be peaceful and let me sleep well. I do this because whatever I feel here in this apartment might be a bit of a prankster. I fear my covers being ripped off of me at night. Every night I feel/fear this will happen. Something is here, just don't know what it is.

Yeah I think you can. Give the priest a donation for his time (not for the church, but a thank you gift for him, they often don't have much in the way of personal funds and they appreciate it).

I don't go to church, I just called one and said I needed a priest to bless the house with holy water. I didn't go into the details about why. If you want to share why, you are probably best off sharing it after he has started the blessing, and not on the phone ahead of time, I would worry that rambling on about strange entities ahead of time might make it more difficult to get one to come out! Call around.

Couple of things I recall.

One psychic experience. Woke up from a sound sleep and I knew something was wrong. Went over to my girlfriend's apt. and caught her in bed with another guy. I had no reason to go over, but it just kind of happened.

Another was an out-of-body experience that I've never been able to recreate, and I know I wasn't dreaming. Didn't get all the way out - I felt as if I were tacked at my hands and feet, but it was quite exhilarating.

About 15 years ago 3 friends and I were sitting in a hotel suite waiting on another 6 or 7 friends to show up for a party. The beer and err party favors were not there yet. We were all just sitting there watching golf and I got up to go check to see if the door was unlocked. As I get up and turn towards the door of the suite, I am not kidding here for a brief second I could see through the hotel. Through walls and everything. My buddies also experienced this at the same time, and we all freaked out to say the least and ran out of that place like the devil himself was on our asses. I don't know what that was, and have never heard of anything like it since. I know it never happened again. Which was fine with me. As I side note, I dont know why we were in so much fear. It honest to God felt like something was chasing us out of that hotel. The whole experience of being able to see through the solid walls lasted less than 2 seconds. But was WEIRD. What freaked me out was that as I hit the door 3 big dudes were almost on top of me to get out of that place. We must have made quite a site.

The second was a "lost time" thing. From where I live it takes roughly 5 hours to get to Ruidoso NM. One night a friend and I cut out about 1am for the casino and had just turned off I-20 in Sweetwater. After about 30 min of driving I suddenly realize that we are about 20 min from Roswell and it is now 4:12am. What happened to 3 hours neither one of us has a clue. I did not notice anything strange, I finally just put it in the back of my mind as did my buddy. Rowell of all places

Id actually prefer to remain anonymous on this one, even though i love this site, and the stories i've read in this thread alone....and it is a great topic....
For myself, a now 29/m, I was a child when i had one of the weirdest things happen to me, and to this very day i still ponder on it....but i was probably about 8-9ish in age, and i was very sick at the time, I had the second wave of the chickenpox, bronchitus turning into pnumonia, and a high fever of 104.3 F....I serously thought i was dieing....and so did my parents....which did everything they could to help, but nothing was working....So my dad thought it best to break the fever first, and made a cool bath for me, and ploped me in it....and slowly started adding ice to it to help cool my body down, (as if i wasnt freezing enough from the effects of the fever), but once he did that i saw the tiles around the bathtub starting to peel of the walls, and start plating on the water....surrounding me, and i started to shrink....it was one experience i couldn't possibaly describe, just think of a bad trip, and there ya go....
Well, they finally got it to drop to around 99...and relieved me from my icy waters, and put me on the couch in the living room with some cool cotton sheets to sleep with....and i zonked out for a bit....and then i awoke....and feeling bored i decided to turn on the tv, and see if i could find anything on that was interesting....but i could only find Rambo on....so i sat and watched that for a bit untill i dozed off again....then i snapped awake, i knew it couldn't of been long cause i saw rambow was still on, i rubbed my eyes a bit cause i noticed someone was there near the doorway to the front door.....the moonlight poured into the room decently from the main window in the living room, so i was able to see decently since the lights were off and the tv was on, I figured it was my dad checking up on me, but it just stood ther right at the edge of the shadows, and a car or something went by, and i saw thhis charchol looking thing instead, it was greysih black, and stood a good 6 feet tall, and just odd looking, it just didnt look like a person at all.....and these red eyes gleamed in it....they seemed like burning embers....and i was frozen....i couldn't move or breathe....i tryed to screem for my parents, but to no avail....i thought i was now seriously dead, and now im going to Hell.....but, it just stood there, about 10 feet away from me....gazing into me....and i went out like a light....
The next morning, i was good, healthy, and ready to go, but never thought of the moment really, figuring it was a bad dream, but it didnt stop there.....a few weeks or so passed, and kids were freaked about me, calling me the devil....cause i would do weird things and draw pictures of evil things...carving pentagrams on my palms..ect....i was sent to a child psychologist and nothing could be fiured out, well, i was told that anyway, but i think there is more to that that was kept from me.....
i saw psychics, and met many people that say they see it with me....like a guardian angel in a way...and it smiles with this evil grin showing rows of teeth....at least for what im told....and im told im too dark to be read....too shrowded, but very powerfull...which i figured out growing up, with a knick knack for seeing the future, and reading people like books...

well im running out of room, but i might add some more sometime soon....

One of the strangest things I have ever experienced happened when I was 13 yrs old.

My family had just moved from Phoenix to a little town further north in Arizona called Cornville. We had been staying at my grandfathers ranch while our house was being built on our land. My brothers and me stayed in a little bunkhouse on the ranch. One night I remember waking up my brothers because there was a light outside in the field. I remember my heart was beating so hard I felt like it was going to come out of my chest as I snuck up to the backdoor that had a window on it. Right as I lifted my head to the window to look out, immediately a Super bright light was placed on me from this object outside. I could see it was hovering above the ground but there was absolutly no sound, If my memory serves me correctly I think it was more of a very dull hum. Very little noise. I ran to my bed and kept looking at the window until the light disappeared. I remember talking to my friends about it that lived down the road to see if they saw anything and one of my friends that had a bedroom on the second floor with a skylight said it shined through his skylight too. I went into the field to see if there was anything out there and there was nothing at all.

I talked to my Dad about this a few years ago and he spilled his guts to me about strange things he has seen while traveling up to the Hopi reservation. This confession from my Dad is what got me interested in the UFO phenomenon as well as my experience.

I saw a car with no driver once. Only car on the road out in the country. Just cruised on by. I have talked myself into believing that the driver was just really short. Saw a green glowing orb zip out from behind a cloud and back behind it in the span of a split second another time, in Portland OR. The skeptic in me has decided this was ball lightning. Weirdest thing though is when I was a kid I woke up and there was a white (human?) standing by my bed. I remember laying there really scared for a long time trying to figure out what to do. I thought it was a ghost and for some reason I tried to run through it. I ended up running INTO it which scared me even more. Ran into my grandma's room flipping out, we went back in there and of course it was gone. The first 2 events I can write off in my mind, the last one still bugs me when I think about it.

Lived in a house in the bay area by myself. awoke to a dark mass and with the mass i could make out a slight outline of a body, the energy was so intense and evil I ran outside my house and move shortly after.

when my mom was a teenager her and her sister were left at home by my grandparents. they slept together. they both awoke to a short hairy being with arms long almost to the floor. it was standing upright. they got in trouble because the door of the house was open when my grandparents got home

in high school i was partying up in a cliffy, rich area. being young dumb and drunk. I was showing off and jumped of the side of the cliff(why ?) I landed on
something hard almost level with the path we where walking. got back up and joined the fun.went back the next day(daylight)and there was no side of earth anywhere on the path just a straight drop to rocks and ocean.

saw a green flash fly down and into the woods with my friend while driving in broad daylight(problaby a meteor )

I've found in the last couple years I've had some seriously bizarre deja vu moments, nothing particularly interesting about them. But very weird, could be as simple as me sitting there typing a reply in a forum and I rememebr word for word exactly what I'm typing, it's the feeling that washes over me when that happens that's weird, almost like an instant panic attack feeling that quickly goes away. I'm sure I'm describing it badly. I do have a tendency to momentarily completely zone out and see things, I always chalk it up to the enormous amount of hallucinogenics I did as a teenager, flashbacks or whatever. I had some incredibly eye opening '___' trips, always very different from what the "norm" was described as, might just be the way my brain thinks.

One odd coincidence, I work at a small law firm, their are 5 attorneys, all five attorneys birthdays are on the 16th, all one month apart, all 5 are left handed, as am I (I'm the paralegal/records manager) and so is the secretary/office manager, that's the entire office, I said we're small! The secretary's bday is on the 16th as well, I'm the odd man out, mine is on the 2nd.

My father and brother both have very vivid recollection of seeing a UFO, I was there but have zero memory of it, my mind is a sieve sometimes. My mother says her father (who's deceased) visits her and speaks to her occasionally. Interesting.

Very interesting stuff. Thanks Terra. My wife believes her Grandfather visits her from time to time. He passed on almost a year and a half ago now. They were very close. I've always found stories like this interesting.

On November 2, 2005 I was using the internet and I started seeing these out of place links in the text of the news stories I was reading. I clicked on the link, and then another and then another. I came to a site advertising a game called Everquest 2. I saw another out of place link and clicked on it. I came to a page entitled "Treaty and Leader Exchange" the page was unlike any internet page I'd seen to that day or since. After looking at the page and wondering about it, I couldn't sleep or eat for 4 days. I even closed my browser, reopened it and found my way back to the page. I wanted to be certain it was there as I immediately knew this would be gone the next day.

Because of the page I encountered, I unhooked my computer. I was convinced that Satan had hacked my computer and was trying to tempt me with promises of power. 3 days later while doing some chores a flash of light accompanied by what sounded like a trumpet blast appeared in my head. I mean in my head because I heard it but there was no actual sound.

I think I heard the voice of God (The Trumpet) alerting me that the end of time had come and it was time for me to appear on the battle field with the rest of the Angels.

The very next day I think I may have foiled a Satanic plot to overthrow the order of the world. I am not sure. Anyway, ever since then I have been able to know what is about to happen in the ongoing battle and I am certain the end of the war will come on October 13th of this year.

FYI. At the time I was in Albuquerque and smoked a lot of pot. Good stuff, smelled like fruit. However I was in a PhD program and was known to be very level headed.

Anyone know about any plots to overthrow the order of the world? Or a way to reproduce the WWW for a certain date?

I to have some very intense moments of Deja-vu more than the 'have I done this before' where I am at the point that I know I have done something before and already know what I am about to do next before doing it without quite realising.

Also when I was about 3 I can swear i remember seeing a wooden house just floating in the sky, I thought it was Heaven


And this is perhaps the most scared I have ever been in my entire life, me and a friend were in a small forest close to my house that we always go into to muck about. However about halfway there is a small swamp on the pathway and we have never seen a reason to climb the hill next to it to go around. Except one day I had my camera and said, lets see whats over there..(Yes I know this sounds incredibly fake but there you go).

So we went over and followed the path as it picked back up until we came into a very unnatural clearing, instantly I felt as if I was being watched by something that meant me harm, and so did my friend, but both being boys of 14 (two years ago) we both played the macho man and stayed for a few minutes. My friend saw a frog skull on the floor which I got on video because we thought it was cool; then we looked around the rest of the clearing. When we got back to the spot where the skull was we were going to climb out and see what else was down that end of the forest (A nice excuse to leave quickly:lol and oh boy did it make us leave quickly. The skull was no longer where it had been, we were both pretty much standing back to back by now completely scared as we had never been more than 8 feet from this spot. So we walked off quite quickly down the way we had come not looking back at all; but I had a camcorder and I wanted to get a view leaving so I turned around so I could see what I was doing and to this day I swear I saw something in the bushes by the side. I calmly said to my friend ' f'in run now theres something there' before taking off past him, we both ran straight over that swamp even though it was deeper than both of us. Alas I have no longer got the tape due to moving furniture in my room and losing it, not that it was good enough quality to see anything in anyway.

The strange thing is we will still go to that forest, but only once have we ever dared to go back past the swamp, and that was with a third person.

just joined, posted before but with no username so just wanted to add another strange event.

I was at my boyfriends house and it was just him and I. The rest of his family was at the cottage. So his staircase to the basement is hardly used and his parents put pottery/grocery boxes/cans/etc along the side of the stairs. That night, we never went near the basement or the doorway to downstairs but the next morning he told me he woke up to alot of noise coming from downstairs in the early morning, sure enough he opened the basement door and all of the pots/boxes/cans were all over the place..all the way down to the bottom and all over the floor but far away from the staircase as well...he checked to see if anyone broke in but there wasnt any hint of it.

I don't know but when I checked the mess out for myself I got a really eerie feeling. There is a very old cemetery less then a block away from his house too..hmm.

I've had so many weird experiences that I could write a book about it (actually, I AM writing one ).

-- Saw a UFO
-- Saw ghosts more than once
-- Had a horrible haunting after playing around with a self-made Ouija board
-- Had a poltergeist in my apartment
-- Suffered astral attacks at night
-- Experienced a telepathic "soul" connection with a 7-foot iguana
-- Had spontaneous past-life memories, one of which was confirmed by a person who had been with me in that past life
-- Saw demonic beings twice
-- Was guided to a wedding to save a baby's (fetus's life)
-- Saw a "glitch in the Matrix"
-- Received "Messages from Spirit" for total strangers which I then had to convey to them, and they were all correct

There's so much stuff... but during much of this, as one previous poster (the one with the tree that formed an aboriginal face) said, at the time I was so into New Age stuff and things like that happened every other day, that they didn't get much more than a shrug out of me. Today, when I think back, it's quite extraordinary what happened to me.

Hello everyone long time reader first time poster
Anyways, I have a few stories to tell you folks. When i was a little kid we lived in this house that was haunted and by haunted i mean you could see this child and weird stuff would happen right well from what my parents told me is that child died from being pushed down the stairs right well im like 2 and im right in front of these same stairs and beside me is that kid. My dad saw the kid ran towards me and the kid ran into the bathroom right well dad followed him and saw him jump into the bathtub and it looked like water ripples even though there was no water in it. So after that we tried to exorcize the house which actually pissed off the ghost weirder and weirder stuff started to happen to the point we didn't feel safe there anymore. So my dad,mom and grandma start packing up for us to move okay well they got everything out of the closet turn the light off and close the door and put the stuff in boxes go to open the back door and go to the car to open the doors and when they come back inside they find that all the boxes were neatly stacked up and everything was put back inside the closet with the door opened and the light on weird huh?

Now at a new house on thanksgiving mom and grandma are cooking in the kitchen and a "dog" jumps over the counter (5 feet high counter btw) and they hear a crash and it was the trashcan being knocked over but no dog.

I have been possessed a 2 times that i can recall and i say possessed because im laying in my bed and i can feel this pure evil force or w/e come into my room and inside of me then i can see myself lookin down at my body writhing in pain right. The second time it happened only a few months ago yet i cant recall what happened or anything but i can remember behind "possessed" im trying hard for the life of me to recall what happened but i cant. All i can remember is feeling sick and like something is trying to corrupt me or something trying to take me over Im trying to figure out why it is or if im being possessed now know what i mean? like why would it want me or if it has possessed me why am i not turning my head around in circles n smurf floating and and speaking in tongues xD
I want to believe im not possessed but these events are freaking me out i want to say they want or need me or they are trying damned hard to take me over but something about me is resisting (thank god)
Anyways thats all i got now if anything its an interesting read =p
